When you hear somene say "Toyotas are Jap crap" and you dont hesitate to set them straight........

I have had this discussion a handful of times, I see it as vehicular racism and it will not be tolerated! LOL Who else has had this discussion?

Mostly had to deal with it since the "unintended acceleration issues". Popular to hate on Toyota now a days.

Yeah, thats been one ive encountered as well especially since I own a new Tundra. My brother has a Dodge with a hemi, and he tried to clown me until I told him the Tundra has more American parts than his shitty Dodge, and that the base 5.7 engine in a Toyota has more power than his HEMI edition pile.

From my understanding, the new "Hemis" don't even have hemispherical combustion chambers.

I don't think they're even called Dodge now...just Ram trucks.

When a honda rear ends you and the hood is crushed under your leaf springs, then you say to urself its probly just the detroit again...   :shake:

hmmm, let me rephrase that into something that strikes a little closer to me.... LoL

"When a Lincoln town car rear ends you and you have to lock in the front hubs to pull off their hood, leaving a nice furrow down the center of it from your 2" receiver. Then when the cop shows up to take a report and the lady is screaming that it was your fault, the cop tells her to shut up and that she should pay you a $1.99 for a can of spray paint to fix the damage to your bumper."

how was she saying it was your fault? I am intrigued, I always gotta wonder with whole rearended thing (I mean does she think shes going to convince the cop you backed into her?)
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

IDK, it made no sense at all. It happened at a stoplight on a major road and I was already stopped when she plowed into me enough to go under my truck. She then sat there while I surveyed the damage (or lack of damage on my rig), locked the hubs and pulled off her hood. Once the cop showed up she started screaming at him how it was my fault for stopping on a major road (at a stoplight ).  When the cop showed there was no argument from him, he knew it was her fault and sent me on my way.
