You are driving down the freeway and you don't have to constantly look for cops in your rear view mirror because your truck won't go over the speed limit anyways.

You know you drive a Toyota when drivers roll their windows *up* as you pass them due to all the noise your truck is making just keeping up with traffic.  Wheels, tires, engine, transmission, various door panels and ratting bits...

(related to #1)Also the cops ignore you because they understand you have to floor it just to keep up with traffic. (ie - sounds like someone going 100 in a Civic.  At 30...

note - actually, it's because everything is so quiet and "pod" like now.  My 67 Mercedes was also amazingly loud compared to, well, anything other than a military vehicle. ;)

or your truck is so much a part of your life it is no longer an object, but rather an sentient companion. You give it a name and refer to your truck as "he" or "she"... and you're actually offended if someone calls him "it".

Thought of one...

You don't look to see how fast your going (speedo is wrong anyways) because you know what that speed sounds like.

You have a "power gear"...
