who said anything about KOH?  I thought we already made plans to try to beat hayes and chris to loon thursday night.  That's what wilms and I are planning on.  If not, no big deal. just saying.  we're not even racing anyways, just cruising through without stopping unless we have to.

You know more then well that with Wilms going, Its going to be a race. Lol but I've never been and I don't get much time to go on long distance wheeling trips because of work so I want to enjoy it not race through it. If you and mike race, I'll catch up

If you want to see the whole trail, thursday night in the dark is not the time to do it.  And once sunrise comes around friday morning,  there will be hundreds of rigs coming through the opposite direction and you probably won't want to go all the through.  it's not going to be a race with wilms going.  he just doesn't stop unless someones broke.

also why we want to be at loon friday morning, so that we can take our time and come through slowly, during the day.  thats when you are going to want to check out the trail and scenery.

I don't remember racing through last year because steve was around.  I remember having to hurry up and get to the springs because steve took wilms 2 boys in his buggy and took off and told wilms he was dropping them off at the springs by themselves.   .  I know for a fact i'm not setting up camp at the springs on thursday when we pass by.  if you get up friday morning and try to drive to loon, your going to be going against traffic, if not not causing traffic

how is stopping to weld up a random persons link, along with a driveline, then stopping to fix wilms busted axle studs considered racing through.  not to mention we hung out with the guys with the broken link arm and drive shaft for a while before taking off.  i don't know man,  you guys are sounding like your not wanting to run all the way through now.   your starting to hurt my feelings

yea, we could be at loon thursday morning, but we decided to run the entire trail backwards at night just for the heck of it.  then start at loon friday morning.  non of the people in our group have ever run the trail the entire length backwards.  the most we've done is from buck to loon.  never gone up big sluice or old sluice at night.  you should come along brian

we just got 1 more joining our group this morning.  james, from bakersfield. now we are up to 11 in our group.  i'm sure we will spread out nicely though .  just kidding. no racing!

DAMN!! now we might not make it before fri morn! With that many going we are GOING to have problems

every rig in our group is running 37's and fully built, except for james and mike wilms buddy, both in jeeps on 35's.  but they are fully build also.  i don't think we will have any issues.  might just take some time being we have 3 people going that have never ran the trail at all.  it will be fun.  i'm really looking forward to it.  i just don't want to be at the back at the group.

i thought you were planning on meeting us at loon side friday morning with hayes? you don't have to follow us in thursday night.  hayes is just dropping his trailer off at tahoe side, then driving around, and I think he was planning on having you follow him around too, along with anyone else who decides not to make the run backwards thursday night.  but we will all be meeting up friday morning at loon side.

i'll be ready to head out wednesday night, so whenever everyone feels like hitting the road thursday morning works for me.  we are all leaving from bakersfield, except for chris.  we'll meet up somewhere near sac i guess.  i figured 7 or 8 sharp.  litterally.  I don't want to make 100 stops on the way either.  the sooner we get there and sooner we can get on the trail, the better.
