No diamonds yet. One day... I Hope! Going really slowly last little while. Mounted my vise finally! The stand is a little over built for that vise, but if it ever brakes i'lle get a Wilton. 4" Schedule 40 steel pipe with 1" steel flanges, bolted to the floor with 4 3/4" concrete bolts. Beef it's whats for dinner.

Started building my thirds, but the bearing separator slipped and popped the inner pinion bearing. Will have to wait till this week to get another one. It is crazy tight on the pinion. Even on my 12ton press Zuk  any words of advise? Cause I have 2 to set up I am just going to grab an extra inner pinion and just open the inner dia up so it's a slip fit not a press fit. Will save me TONS of time and the risk of messing the bearing again.

I got my Diamond Axles. These things look awesome! weighing bout 90 lbs each. I can't even say how nicely they are! I started cleaning and fiddling with them all I can is WOW. Cleaning, paint, Assemble YAY!

Front Axle

Rear Axle

This flange is an inch thick!!! WOW!

SEXY!

Lots o' welding

This thing is massive and just looks awesome under my truck!

So I started looking at things and found this. The 25mm bearing contacts the axle with the smaller race. A little work with a metal removing tool and it will all be ok. Just something to keep in mind!

Slow progress. Money Money Money. I found a new cab i'm going to use from an 85. Will save me some time in finishing the one I have.

I got my front diff set up with the help of Zuk and others. What a pain. Gonna go with a Nitro next time.

http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=72610.0

Cleaned and painted my rear axle. Still need to weld on the shock mounts, perhaps I got a little ahead of myself. I need to get the shocks/PSC ram mounted before I start on the front. Good Times.

Spent a few hours cleaning. I love working in a clean garage!

If you have a hook up on the supra calipers, pass it along. I have been doing a little bit of searching and havnt found squat. I want to get a set to run full float with a rear ebrake.

A side note about your hydro asst; Make sure you have a good cooler to go with it. That pump gets hot!

I love the thoroughness of your build.

So I got the Rear 80% done. All it needs is the Diff, caliber, and axles shaft. I have the shafts in the mail. The rest is still at the store.

12" shocks in the Rear mounted inboard with Sky manufacturing

Full float rear, rear disk break conversion.

Got the front somewhat done. Welded the shock tabs on. 14" Shocks in the front. I still need to get the PSC assist ram

Tick Tock. One of these days....

So I started the process of making break lines and fuel lines. I got them all bent in copper gotta take em to and have them bent in stainless and flared.

Also got it on all 4 wheels. This is the first time in over a year and a half!. Check that flex, 18 inches. with no problem. Also found a problem with the front leaf spring bolt hitting the axle. Took the axle pack apart and cut a little of the bolt.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Started the body work. I wish this part was faster. Why can't I just sit back and slip it some singles and have it strip itself? Thats what normally happens.

Using aircraft stripper and time is a pain in the ass. I was going to have it blasted, but saved myself tones of money.

The body work is going slowly. This is my first time doing all this by myself. I have most of it done and primed. Needs more blocking and work but it's getting there slowly.

Here is a pic of the HVLP gun i am going to use to paint it.

Here is the color. So far i am the only one that likes it. Anyone painters in the Seattle/Tacoma area wanna come and paint it for me? muhahaha

That is what im talking about. They put a 9" under it, GM crate motor and a 700R4. the only thing left Toyota is the cab :-/

Whats the point of having a Toyota and not have any Toyota on it.
