Finally built me a new engine cage.  At first I didnt want to go through the hood, but I figured since its just a toy, its worth protecting that supercharger.

And might as well add some tunes to the tube doors, kinda hard to hear the back door speakers on the highway.

And the next project?  finally, some currie swaybars...

Looks sick.  :smokin:

awesome fab work! I have the same plans for speakers in my tube doors. how does they sound? did you insulate the speaker box in anyway? great build.

All I did was fully weld them.  No insulating at all, just left a little gap where they meet the outer door panel.  They sound incredible through the full range.

And thanks so much everybody.

Hey Mossyrocks, what gas mixture do you use for your welder?  I'm guessing probly 90% Argon and 10% Co2?  Your welds look amazingly clean!  At my shop and at home I use c25, mainly because it is a cheaper mixture, it just doesnt weld quite as clean.  Excellent work bro!

Thanks man, i thought ya would be a bit longer! thats wat my truck is at now 109 and it does great on the stuff around here! My runner build is gonna be a bit longer like 116 but i'm gonna try to go shorter if i can. The 4 link in the rear and keeping the back seat is wat has pushed me back a bit!!

Finally got em on there.  Ill be honest, I almost had a heart attack bending the rear arms to clear the coilover cut-out on the rear of the frame.

Still flexes out and it drives great on the road.  Im making corners 20 mph quicker than I was before.

Still truckin along.  New rear bumper/frame section and sliders to come.  I never did finish the back.
