Sweet pics, looks like a lot of fun. Bacon is about the only thing that gets me going in the early morning dash to get back on the trail :gap:

Some updates  :beerchug:

well the last trip we were out we happened to find a mud/water hole....i should have stayed a far ways away from it but ...im an idiot  :slap:... it is pretty much a natural spring that has no bottom. got nice an stuck in that, had to get pulled out all the way back through the hole...had water up to my dash ( of course i had the doors off also) so im done with mud...staying clear  :burnout:

then a buddy of mine had to go in it too  :slap:  :idiot:...he then got stuck...so i had to pull him out. thats how this happened

broke the input shaft on the rear case  :eyebrow:

here is the other half still in the front coupler:

so i think its time for some marlin  :turtle: total splines and a 4.7 gear set for the rear case...i also want to get the bobby long output shaft while im at it.

also pulling the front end for a well needed rebuild

toyotanner

i really think you would never really use the 4.7 gears around here or anywhere for that matter. :twocents:

why would u think that
all i use is the 4.7s at the hammers  i just throw the rear case in low and go
rather have that then two stocks
Lets shoot fireballs at it !!

OH man, we're  gonna get so  busted!!!

toyotanner

cause i play in the rocks and just stock duals is good enough for me... any slower and i would get bored. like i said just my :twocents:

TIMS89CRAWLER

its all about the 4.7s and plus then ya get the total splines......

im either going to have to buy a 4.7 gear set or a 2.28 to get the marlin splines. so i figure i might as well spend a little more and get the 4.7's. i have to take the case apart already so im just going to do it. the stock gears in the cases work well for around here but i want to be equiped to go anywhere.

I think you will be very pleased with the 4.7s. You still have a huge range of gears, now you just have super super low for those super super special occasions :gap:

thanks ...ya i had the plug welded in there for a couple trips cause i about ripped it out....so i figured it was a good time for it to go bye bye  :flamer:

:eyebrow: all welded up and wheeled down

i cut the lower pearch off flush with the front of the housing

drain plug gone

toyotanner

looks like all its missing is an upper truss good work

TIMS89CRAWLER

the upper truss is a waste unless its 1/4" plate custom built.... the ones u can buy are bent sheet metal and you can not mount anything to them like a steering ram....
