TheCookieMonster

you can get the crawlbox with stock gears or 4.7s....it just wasnt worth the money to me at this point and time...i think the 2.28s should be plenty low enough for me

toyotanner

oh i didnt know you were going with duals i thought you were just gonna run the single 4.7 case. My bad lol

btw if you find anyone with that grille rob them lol and send it to me via ups haha :pimp:

TheCookieMonster

well i got the cases put in for now....everything lined up perfect and im very happy ...i just have them in with the stock crossmember for now until i get the fror rotoated center section plate...im believe im going to shorten my rear cv driveline since its in pretty good shape, then get some square receiver tubing for the front. ill also take out the double u joint deal in the front dl and make it so there is just one u joint on each end. im just waiting on some more $$$$$ again..once i get the fror center crossmember piece ill probably have to cut my tranny tunnel a bit to be able push the t-cases up for the flat belly...but it looks like it wont be to diffucult...ill hopefully have pics soon sorry :outtahere:

U might wanna look into beefing up that FROR member with a piece of tube under it.

I have been seeing a few of them crack lately

i was thinkin they look pretty weak for what theyre supporting... i am using the center section with a piece of 2x3 tubing to support it all up in there

thanks for the heads up ,
ya i was plannin on running something similar to what 4rnRick has done on the sami....a piece of 2x3 or 2x4 underneath the center fror piece with some leafspring bushings holding them together....then lots of gussets from the leafspring bushing tubes to the center piece of the crossmember..then weld some tabs on the bottom crossbar and bolt em up...ill figure out something that will be strong :muscles:

some of my 20r

my old stock exhaust

38 weber...good carb but i dont like

GM HEI igniter which still needs hooked up

fuel pressure regulator

oil pan area

16in. electric fan

elecric fuel pump

TheCookieMonster

here are some of the GM 1 wire alternater conversion i did...i really like these alternaters because they are very reliable and very eazy to hook up....one wire from alternator to battery..thats it  plus i dont like toyota alt.'s

the top bracket is a aftermarket GM top alternator bracket from the local autoparts store..just had to cut it down and drill a new hole :yesnod:

bottom bracket i made from some 1/4 flat bar. made up some tabs to bolt to the alt. then stuck alt. in place so it was straight and tacked together..
