Yea it takes a beating pretty well.  Once I get my CroMo shafts back from polyperformance Ill beat on it harder.  As of now Im kinda babying it, if you'll believe that...

Wait till you pull a broken stock shaft out, won't sound good anymore.  :)

WHITE_TRASH

Id put money on a stock shaft taking more abuse than that last CroMo did.  Ive had a stock short side in for the last year.  Not a peep out of it go figure.

My stocks inners were good intil i broke one.  go figure.

WHITE_TRASH

We'll see just how long my stock inners survive in a couple weeks if I dont have the CroMo's back.  Im kinda nervous but I have lots of spares.

Well I busted a stock inner (didnt see that coming did ya?)  Nothing to impresive, just the typical yota c-clp groove breakage.

But I did do a bit of damage to my truck on leaning tree and pucker ridge at Rimrock last weekend.  :gap:

so much for a dovetail being a useful thing, it poked that bed out further than it was before.

White Trash, your truck is screwed up royally, you know that right?  Not that it is a bad thing.

WHITE_TRASH

I kept the tailghts in fine shape allday saturday running leaning tree.  but on sunday pucker ridge got the best of them.  My lockright doesnt like to unlock very often so 837 point turns are the norm on TIGHT trails.  After awhile of that I was getting pissed so Id just back into tree's and turn the wheel to get the front turned where it needed to go.  :gap:

The new "flare" is from Robin backing off my tire and ripping a 7" gash in his sidewall.  The tree's didnt do that one...  :hahaha:

how about the noose (sp?) in the rear view mirror?  something needs to be done about that bed.  you should mount your cab on a short bed frame and build somehting for a "flatbed"  i know you can come up with something unique cuz i know u dont like flatbeds cuz everyones got one.  but look at ur truck, u found a way to make it unique.  that bed has got to go.

WHITE_TRASH

Nope, I got a replacement bed last week before I wasted this one and Im not cutting the wheelbase down any.  Hell I may lengthen it another 1 1/2" to clear my snow tires......

jeez.  so you'll be at 129"  thats sad that i know that, but when i think white trash's truck the first thing that comes to mind is 127.5 haha.  well sweet, cant wait to see the new bed, and what you do to it
in the projects nooga, anything goes

WHITE_TRASH

The new bed will be basically the same as this one was but it'll be done correctly.  Im not in any hurry to get it done so Ill do it up much nicer than the last one.  Im putting 1x1/8" square tubing inside the bed rails and reinforcing everything so the bed wont crush as the old shitmetal one did.  In the end I want the bed to be strong enough to be driven on with no worries.

And yea it is kinda sad that you know the wheelbase but I guess its hard to forget the stretch limo esqueness of it....  :gap:
