It works good but the tire wobbles because its only 1/8" wall and the middle actually sagged a little. If i was to do it again i would use like 1.5" tube so it is more sturdy. It works great though and only took me a couple hours to make, and my ice chest fits right under it.

Some more progress on this flatbelly. Its taken me a lot longer than i planned but im starting to see the light. I have been working on the crossmember the last week.
Yesterday i got my fror crossmember and poly bushings from the brown truck. :) I forget what its like to drive my truck and i want it ready by the 27th of jan for lilbuddys snow run.

Clearenced the center 4 inches. Used 2" x 3/8" strap. I think its plenty strong to mount my trac-bar to. What do you think?

Plated the sides with 1/4" plate. Its ready to be welded back onto the frame relocated 2.5" higher than stock.

Cutting rear gas tank mount off

2.5" cut off and welded back together. Still need to weld the brake line mount somewhere.

The frame for the center console it pretty much finished. Used 1" x 3/16" strap.]

Next update it will be finished.

Use 1/2" plexiglass in the open panel above the TC output flange, you can watch your DS spin and see if anything is wrong, plus it looks cool!

Yota4life

Haha that would be cool. But i am going to mount my ammo can ontop of it for storage and put one or 2 cup holders there also.

Hyena

ya, i got mine as tall as i could.  they are right up against the bottom of the cab.  i think mine are more bling bling since they have a hole in the center that is welded up for more strength!!!

boggerunner

how close is your tranny shifter in 1, 3, or 5th to the dash?

Hyena

he has a body lift so it shouldn't be that close.  mine just barely hits the dash in first gear mainly.  it hasen't popped out yet.

Yota4life

I wanted to plug weld mine in a couple different spots but i rushed and forgot about it. you beat me :) The shifter is good but i am going to bend it back some more. OH i forgot to weld the gussets it came with for the mounts! doh

Sealed the tunnel with silicone and the back part of the cab i used marine foam to fill in the gap.

Done. Overall i like how stiff the drivetrain is now but now i get even worse axle wrap than before. I still need to make a skidplate for the t-cases and i might make one for the gastank. I just dont like how the stock tank skid hangs down so much

Exhaust done. Had the cat removed. I can tell the throttle response is way better and added some more power with the header. I wish that the bend up to a muffler was a couple inches higher but it still sits above the bottom of the frame so it should be fine.
