My 88 pickup is back in buisness
« on: May 04, 2005, 09:19:51 PM »
I have been on here a while now and i got a bunch of pics of my rig. Iv done a lot of work to it and i still have more planned. Im from Sacramento California and im 18 just graduated high school.. Iv been working and savin a lot of money to continue the build. Heres what its got

1988 toy PU
New 22re with about 8,000 miles on it
2.25 exhaust from the cat back and a flowmaster 40
SAS
Wagoneer 7pack leafs in the front
Hysteer with 1ton joints
529s front and rear
Diff armor front and rear
Aussie locker rear
63" Chevys rear, Buggy leaf (right now putting on a longer shackle and might ditch buggies and just put a flex joint)
Extended diff breathers front/rear
Rocker guards
Rear bumper with wrap around i just made(still need to weld on some D-ring shackles i have)
Dual cases with Budbuilt crossmember 223:1 crawl ratio  :driving:
36" Iroks on 15/10 rockcrawlers with 2.5 BS
Rollbar in bed with a spare tire mount welded on (have a new 36" TSL SX spare)
4 rocklights and 2 fog lights up front

Interior:
Rollcage
Grant steering wheel
Kenwood speakers ,amp, alpine deck, took out sub because it takes up to much room
Bucket seats dont know what from
iPod setup 8)
just put a rear slider window in(after my rear solid window got shattered)

More stuff i cant think of probley.
I plan on getting the new chromoly longfields then hydro assist after that. Then a aussie locker up front. Getting a CB radio in a few days. I know theres more i want to get just brain dead right now  :hammer:

I will post some pics of wheelin and stuff

did you take out or put in any leafs on the wagoneer pack? how much lift did you get with this set up? Where did you get the rear slider? I've got a slider but I want to put in a solid cause I've got too much $$$ in my stereo. Those sliders are too damn easy to get open.

Its offset a little toward the driver

The leaf pack is complete all 7, I got the rear slider from Toyauto mart a recycler on Sunrise Blvd in Rancho. Yeah it is in great shape i just need to go to the dealer to get a new latch for it.

I live in Carmichael actually, Next to sacramento. Let me know if there are any good local trails around, maybe we can wheel sometime!

2 1/2" longer shackle , and moved foward 1 1/2. Gave it more lift and leveled the truck out.I made it so the buggy can only unload about half the length it did before so it wont get much axle wrap now and with the added 400 or so pounds in my bed now that will help a lot and get better flex. Before the shackle angle was about like 90 degress now its pretty good.

We are going on the Rubicon.  Leaving thursday after school.  What are you doing next weekend?  We are planning on doing a trip to Hell Hole.  Theres is still snow up there.  We are either going Friday after school and staying the night or just doing a day trip on sunday.
