My alt is the L-E-F style with a black plug; the 3 wires go to the external regulator along with the battery wire. IIRC the 3 wires are yellow, white-black and green; batt is also yellow, but thicker gauge. I'm gonna swing for the fences and pray I find another charge relay dealie tomorrow; the yard's site lists ONE 85 Toy p/u.
