Looks like it should be great on the bottom of the frame where you have it in the second picture, but without the double shackle.  If you use the double shackle, then you need to move it up the frame about 4 inches because it's supposed to rest up against the frame.  Generally people use that when they keep the original shackle mount, as I understand it.  However, I would personally ditch the smaller shackle, and weld the hanger up at the end of the frame.  The extra droop that it provides is essentially useless.  It's unsprung, so therefore it doesn't really put any pressure on that tire that might as well be in the air.  I don't know...I just never really liked the idea of a it.  Your axle basically falls off with only the shock to hold it when you go to full droop.  Sure, the droop looks cool...but it does very little for you.  And can you imagine what would happen if you ever caught air!?  :yikes:
