If your running no doors, and bikini top. Make sure you bring a tarp. It poured on us from loon to buck island.

Thanks for the heads up! I do have half doors and a soft top from killer toy tops. I will bring my snap on door sides and soft top sides. Thanks again!

After the trip thru the rubicon, I had enough time to shower, reload truck for camping adventure. 3 days of relaxing.. Been living out of the ARB fridge for the last 8 days. Couple pics.

OVRAROK, Thought about one of the ARB refrigerators. But wasn't too sure how good they were. Do you need an inverter to run it or do you just wire it in? Also does it drain battery running it overnight?

mudmaster

I have an ARB and a Dometic. Both work great. You can hard wire it or use a power outlet, AKA cigarette lighter.  I cool mine down on 110V before I hook up to the vehicle. I've never had mine drain down the battery overnight.
Time to go wheelin!

I run 3 batteries. 2 in the engine bay, 1 in rear of 4runner. Also, I have a renogy 50 amp dc/dc charger, renogy bt-2, 130 watt solar panel. All hardwired into rig. The 3rd battery runs fridge, and a few other accessories. During the day with solar panel plugged in. The power from solar panel fully charges 3rd battery, and trickle charges 2 starting batteries.

At the risk of blowing too much sunshine up Dave's pant legs, he is truly an amazing individual.

"Nice work" is an understatement.

A couple years ago I took course for a Yale University professor entitled "The Science of Well-Being".

In its simple form it's the actual scientific studies and research on what makes people happy and unhappy.

It's like the science supporting the Indian religions of Karma. Do good, and good things happen to you.  Do bad things, bad things happen to you. And, the concept of "rebirth".... Doing good means your new life in rebirth will be good.

One of the primary and most rewarding actions we can take for making us happy is spontaneous acts of kindness.

Of course, unsolicited generosity is a big thing.

Mr. OVRAROK, appears, from his posts here in the forum, to exemplify those key traits and actions to elevate his well-being and happiness, as deeply described in the science and research, in his real life.

According to researchers Sonja Lyubomirsky, Kennon M. Sheldon, and David Schkade, what determines happiness in a pie chart is:  10% Life Circumstances – your demographics, "the national, geographical, and cultural region in which a person resides."  And, things that happen to you, unforeseen.

50% is Biology and Genetics – your DNA makes you predisposed to a level of happiness.  Some people are just really a happy spirit.. most all the time. Those people are fun to be around. Some people are bitching and complaining all the time... they suck to be around.

40% is Intentional Activity – what YOU do, your actions, behavior, and thoughts as a person.

So... a big chunk of your happiness is in YOUR control.

OVRAROK, one of your pictures is a negative on Facebook posted by me!!  https://www.facebook.com/groups/therubicontrail/permalink/1867586876780288/?comment_id=1868181300054179&notif_id=1659402844109746&notif_t=group_comment&ref=notif

Sorry to hear that oops. I'm not a fan of Facebook, other then marketplace. I'm the guy in the toyota. I didn't have any part of what another grown man does. I can only suggest things. You could have reached out to me, to let the OTHER guy no it was a no no.  Rather then Taking my pic and posting on facebrag. I get your point, I was not involved in such actions. Just happened to be the only photo I had of my rig on the bridge.

OVRAROK

Oops, looking at the time that you must have saved my pic, and reposted on facebrag. Seems like there was a long time lapse. You could have contacted me, like a man and said something. I mean heck, I've been to your house, helped you load that 2nd gen 4runner onto your trailer when your winch wasn't working. Was at MC roundup when you flopped your rig. My wife and yours where  in conversation. I just don't see the need to badger me. On another social platform that I'm really uninterested. Other then there marketplace. I understand your frustration, but the least you could have done was cropped me, the law abiding person out of the pic. Just sayin..  carry on..
