Nicely done! Before I put my motor back in I will need to go through the alternators I have and put together a good one. I have a new regulator and rectifier for it. I just picked up a national Luna dual battery system yesterday hopefully that will fix my charging problems.

I myself am in for this as well. I will be following your lead on this for sure!!!

Where did you pick up the paint?
Also, what did you use to remove the old material?

as far as removal, I used hand sanitizer, q tip to apply, very gentle scrape with a scalpel, then I gentle scraped under hot water, back and forth. I had to drive quite a ways to get supplies, I got them at hobby lobby, in Roseville, it was the closest place to me to have what I need, after gold and leaf, I will sand backside of emblem with 1500 grit, to remove extra gold and silver, then paint with the gloss black modelers paint

Clean really good the first time, I sanded backside with 800,1000,then 1500, then washed, then painted gold, and silver, let it sit for 2 days, then sanded the little bit that got on backside, then painted back side, let it sit for 2 days

that is so nice. I must do this. I don't know if you answered this already but how did you remove the emblems themselves from the truck?

i use a bamboo skewer and a little plastic interior pry bar, also I did in the hottest part of the day, the area that still looks good on your emblems is the only part that's holding it on( if that makes sense)

was the Toyota part originally white or silver? I think it would have looked better white, but either way, it still looks good

the bolt was volunteering as a tool to align both pieces of metal

One of the nicest tank holder setups I've seen. On my buddys cart his tank wouldn't stay put so we would have to roll it next to the cart. A 2 person job just to move from front to back of truck  :hammerhead:  Very cool

OVRAROK

Couple more pics, decided to have integrated power on cart. This way only 1 cord, can plug welder or plasma in

Looks good, are the wheels on it in that pic? or not yet? I do see the piece of wood cribbing, so I guess they aren't but you never know......

Are you going to use little wheels? or some huge wheels to get up and over stuff?

the Skull bar ends are sweet
