Looking good, your pride and attention to detail really shows through.

I also agree with 1st gen. Runners, I sold mine awhile back and REALLY miss it.

Thanks :)

I found a lot more things that need to be done, but its ok because I would rather work on a nice clean rig than a rough cut up one... :)

I am watching this build for sure, it is coming along nice. The body you picked up was flawless great find. I do not like the front bumper though that thing doesn't look right on there.

The bumper is going to have to do till Marlin makes bumpers... its better than nothing for now :(

Couple better pics

Then I pulled some parts off of the old runner real quick last night for something to do...

Then radiator started leaking horrible last night.. ended up being cracked at upper flange.. so I got the fun of replacing my radiator before work this morning... new radiator seemed huge, I wasn't even sure the hood would clear.. but it did :) I'm used to small little radiator caps!

Plans are to get rid of the frame and body for cheap and keep motor to rebuild.. keep the t-case and front CV for duals...

chim

Here is some hard core tech... washer squirter button was flat.. took it apart... found no spring... .pulled one off of the old runner.. slapped it one.. now the button stands at full attention :)

Then some glamour shots of mine and my buddies runners..  both body swapped in the last couple months :)

Are you going to swap parts from your first gen or just build from scratch?

Dondee

Just the axles and transfer cases I'm putting under the Runner :gap: The rest I'm going to sell to the highest bidder....    Then I can get tubing, bumpers, sliders and lockers  :woohoo:

chim

I swapped stereos since the stereo that came in the brown runner was so old that it couldn't even play burned cd's,,.. So I figured it was also a good time to instal the cb.. or at least get it mounted.. had to do a little cutting..
