I know just finishing mine up also, into my carb'd '84, it is a nice difference.  Much more power from the 3rz.  I still need to regear it, but for now the 4.10s give me a nice highway cruise rpm.  And i travel the country, so the 4.10s may stay.

Chim may I ask what you did for your long heater hose?  the Tacoma hose is a bit to long, and won't bend right if I cut it down.

No, I have one at the header collector then I will have the second installed just past the cat.

I will try to get you a more clear pic of hoses this week when I take it for exhaust. It was pretty straight forward, they kinda just fell into place with some minor trimming.

Your 83 may have the same tach board as my 84.  It has a built in potentiometer on the backside of the tach.  I am not certain that this will resolve the issue for swapping in a 3rz, but I will try and find out within a couple weeks. I will post up when I know.

I was going to go to Meineke, but they ticked me off so I went to Get Bent. A little more money but I think it turned out great.

Haha!  That was me also, when I headed to exhaust shop this morning. I had the mini header with down pipe, cut off just past 1st O2 sensor. It sounded like I was gonna wake the dead...

Yes they do...it's a mobile link so get rid of the "m" before youtube in the web address and they work fine.

I do not have that hooked up yet.. I need to find a place for it. For now its just stays at a constant pressure... not going to hurt anything from what I read but I would feel better with it hooked up. I may try to find a fitting that will fit on the intake where the three bolts near diagnostic port is and plug it in there...
