thanx.  a lot of time and money has brought it this far.

got the fitting for the steering pump drilled out to 13/64ths so the steerin will be as quick a before.  also got my resevoir extended by taking two and cutting the bottom off one and the top off another.  combined them and i have twice the capasity in the resevoir.  I TIG'd them back together.  it was my first time ever using the tig so the welds didn't turn out that great.  i hope they are leak proof.  i also got the coller mounted and the hoses for that ran.  just waiting on the steering box rebuild seal kit.

When do you plan on linking it and mounting those air shocks?

i don't know.  i have to move my truck and all my :pokinit: by february 18th and the only place i can keep it at is 30 minutes away in Cool and has no fabrication tools at all.  so i am not sure.  i am hoping to have the links and air shocks done by the hammers.  but probably not a rear cage flatbed thing.

Do you have all the junk to link it?
Will Rick let you use the shop?
If you could link it in a weekend I have some space you can use.

All i have are the shocks.  i could make the brackets pretty easily.  i could probably move the gastank before hand.  so a weekend is doable.  but it won't be for at least a month.  I'll talk to ya tomarrow at the shop Jason.

Shamb

You could leave the gas tank were its at...

run a 2 link w/ a panhard bar... or something similar.

nah, im gonna go all the way with a dual triangulated four link.

Anyway, hear are some updated pics.  got the ram, resevoir, and intake mounted to day.  i might end up taking almost half an inch off the top of the plate for the ram mount.  there is about 4 inches of room between that and the oil pan and the shocks have 4 1/2 inches of uptravel left  :(  i'll be working on it tomarrow though.  can't try outthe ram yet since i am still waiting for the seal kit for the box.

It's custom  :)  when i clearanced the bottom of the housings i took the drain plugs and welded them at the top to fill it easier.  the cut the gusset off the bottom also and welded it on the top for more clearance.  It worked out pretty good.   but i am really surprised that i didn't warp the housing with all the welding that i did on it.

If you don't trade with Rick I will.

Today i got the front tube work pretty much done for right now.  it should be pretty strong.  I also took a port-a-power to the inside of the cab prying out on both sides since the sides of the cab were smashed in and hitting the seats.  And i got my new to me 39.5 inch Iroks on!

they rub a little bit.

boggerunner

daaammmm, that looks good, now for some front cab clearance, do they rub hard?
any chance for this rig to ever see another set of doors, or a cut down toyota grill up front?

they rub pretty hard.  it has already been clearance a few inches but there is still room to clear it more.  i would have to cut into the body mount, cut the rock sliders and then hope the clutch pedal still has all the travel.  door won't fit on it anymore.  the space between the hinges and the latch actually smashed together so the door is too big.  i could push it back but it would really matter since i don't have a windshield right now.  a cutdown toyota grill would be sweep.  m,ine was pretty banged up but i may be able to get it to work.

Shamb

Brad those Irok's look fawkin awesome on your rig. They look like they belong there!

I'm really starting to like the looks of your rig and the formation that its taking. I wasn't a big fan of the tubed front end at first when I saw it on Pat's rig.. but now that its getting braced and i'm seeing it all tie in together it does look good.

Can't wait to hit up some trails soon!  I'm ordering my coilovers tomorrow (if they give me a price!)
