Guys shooting at hoods! I love it.

Folks in my neck of the woods attach a hood to the bumper via tow strap and do donuts to see who can stay on the longest...even on asphalt!

We did that in the school parking lot when I was in high school. It was cool when the hood shot sparks out the back but shortly after the hood got extremely warm and burned whoever was on it.

brad chech your wheel bearings.  Yesterday charlie called me up cuz we were gonna meet up and exchange tires but he couldnt drive cuz his tire was hella tilted and it turned out his bearing were completely undone and pretty much everything was shot on that side of the front end from trying to drive on it

yay, my truck might be able to come outa the garage on it's own power this week!!  working on a battery tray right now that will mount to the front of the frame right behind the radiator on the passenger side.  got the hood down a little bit, still need to install the hood pins.  the wiring is delt with for now.  but i need to give power to my cd player since i am not using the original wiring harness anymore.  i plan to get some plexiglass for a windshield and try and form it to the window frame with a little heat.  it will be ready for a snow run christmas week.  i still haven't had it out to look at the front housing.

guess not anymore.  got the truck out of the garage and got it timed.  took it for a spin and it bogs down like crazy in second gear.  first gear isn't all that great either.  i have no idea what is wrong with it now.  it runs good at idle.  when i hit the gas it hesitates a little and then will rev up good.  but when i go to drive it it is crap.  looks like no snow run on tuesday.  but here are some pics.  need to find a drill big enough to hole the 5/8's drill bit i have for the hood pins.  once i finish up the tube work i will mount the powersteering resivor, it is just hoseclamped on there right now.

kent is taking it to a friends shop tuesday to hopefully have the cage built.  he has a front 44 and a toy V6 rear that he is rebuilding for it right now.  he also has some springs from an yj or xj or something that he will be running front and rear.  it won't be done anytime soon.
