Any plans to cut the floor board where the 4D's rub? I will be doing that to mine pretty soon so I can upgrade tires too.

So i am pretty much screwed over now.  i got my seal kit in the mail and tried to install it.  tried for about 3 hours.  ended up destroying the 2 white bushing that go onto the worm gear thing.  i don't know what to do now.  it is like the bushing were to big or something because the worm gear wouldn't go into the housing at all.  i am so pissed off right now.  i was hoping to get my truck driving again by this weekend but i guess not now.

man the yota is sick! i am building something simalier a cab on a toy frame... hydro assist 39.5 iroks and i don't know about you but mine rub so bad! the axle is moved forward with the spring hanger then the offset pins and i moved it another half inch forward and they still rub.. i cut the front body mounts off the frame and body and now it flexs into my sliders. :yesnod: ? what front springs are you running? do you still have your body mounts

im running toy rear springs with some other leaves mixed in.  i still have the body mounts on there.  and they do rub the hell out of the cab.  i did tub the firewall once and it looks like i will have to do it more.

the spring gave about 3 inches of lift, the shackles about another inch and the drop hanger about an other inch.  so about 5-6 inches for me.  the axle is only moved forward about 1-2 inches total, not sure.  i actually mounted the springs about 1 inch back from stock not thinking i was going to be running 40's one day  :(

i was talked into using stainless.  i wanted to just use steel but got the stainless for a good price.  anybody know how much a 36"x14"x7" gas tank will hold in gallons?  do you guys thing thjat it will work ok for only being 7 inches wide?  thats about all the room i have for the place i want to put it.

Thats 15.2727272727 Gallons.
36"*14"*7"=3528 cubic inches, divided by 231(the number of cubic inches in 1gal.)=15.2727272727gal.

sweet, thanx Dane!  when you gonna have your truck driveable?

I got my IROKs on tuesday, and my wheels should be here tommarow. Im finnishing up converting my 2wd transmission to 4wd so it shouldnt be long till its driveable, but then theres all of the crap like the belly pan, cage, rewire the whole truck, propane to replace the carb etc...etc...etc...
