I couldn't help but notice that you and your crew have been through the sluice like 80 times and was wondering if you guys are heading up to the Con in June?  I am going to try the Box for the first time and was hoping to find someone to go with who has made it....I saw way too much carnege last year and it seems pretty intimidating.

I should be going on the Rubithon June 21-25.  I don't really have any other plans that month as of right now.

 Sky Manufacturing is sending me some new countersunk bolts for my crossmember since mine keep falling out.  I have lost all for of them so i stole a couple from James truck.  I guess i should fix my t-case leak so they stop falling out.  I guess it is almost time for that clocked addapter.

how did your truck do at jv other than a little body damage

The truck did awesome.  No breakage, only got strapped once because i got stuck on my skid plate badly.  The carb has some problems at angles but that is normal.  I need bigger tires because i hit just about everything under the frame.  But it turned out better then i expected it too.  i thought for sure i was gonna break a hub and also roll it.  got it on 2 tires a couple times.  The one thing that went wrong was backing int oa rock with my passenger door while it was open.  Kind of shrunk it a little and it didn't want to latch. but i fixed that later at camp with a BFH.  the drivers door is is worse condition then when it went down there and that is hard to believe.  Might be time for a new door.

I will be there with the family. This will be my 4th year. Hopefully there is good weather. The past three years its rained, snowed and hailed on us not to mention cold as hell.. But its always a good time. Marlin and the guys are allot of fun to wheel and camp with  .

So i have had enough of the carb crapping out on me.  It is time for EFI.  I am buying Chris's motor out of his truck for $350 for everything (motor, harness, tank, computer).  I plan to pull my engine next friday, then me and chris can pull his engine either that day or the next day and install it in mine.  the wiring is going to be the hardest part since he did cut the unwanted stuff from his wiring harness.  I just don't like pulling the dash but it has to be done.  Imagine my truck with EFI, it will be able to run on it's side.  I am soo excited.  and i also got my new t-case mount bolts.  these ones came with locking washers so they won't fall out this time.

Brad you hook a line from your overflow on the carb to a fuel filter?   You've seen mine right?   I can tip it all the way over and it'll still run.

My motor is a piece of crap.  It takes a long time for it to warm up.  I would rather have a little more power too.  Sometimes the motor would run on it's side nicely but most of the time it won't.  I was just about to try the vacuum line out of the carb trick so it doesn't flood it when chris gave me a deal for the motor.  It runs a lot better then mine.
