Here is quick overview of what my junk was and is now.
It started as an 80's beater.
Chevys in the rear, rears up front, dual cases, ez locker, 36"s, and a lot of bungy cords and duct tape.   :gap:

Well I got pretty tired of wheeling with no heater and defrost and was too lazy to replace all that crap so I bought a 92' 2wd and yanked the cab, bed, and motor and made this.    :clap2:

At this time I added a some 7 leaf waggys, budbuilt xmember, ifs rear axle, and a w56 transmission.  I had to get the head rebuilt among other things but it was looking alot better as well as running a whole lot better.  EFI is a blessing to us 4wd owners.

Here is another pic of the front with the stock steering.   :shake:

I broke a leaf spring on that trip due to the limited travel of stock steering and maybe some bad driving but mostly the crappy steering.   :-\

After having a run in with the soup bowl I had to ditch the bed and add more duct tape.   :ack:

I also added a set up front axle with cross over, birf. eliminator kit w/ctm's, v6 calipers and LC rotors, high pinion ARB and 4.88 gears as well as a square tube front driveshaft, 4" all pro springs and a new exhaust system with a new cat and muffler.

Got some secondary steel, some 2"x4"s, and a tool box and made this really simple bed.

At this time I added some rock sliders, a york on board air system, V6 rear 4.88 with a full Detroit, some 15" BBCS shocks, and a high angle rear driveshaft .120 wall. That is my brother in the pic and he is going to pimp the little sluice this summer.    :yesnod:

Well we went to Fordyce for Memorial and it was to say the least, not very fun.  First it hailed on us and then it snowed.  We played around on the driveline but that was about it.

Here are couple pics.  I would have taken more but it was too dark at night and we left early the next morning.

And on the very same day we got back home early and were really bored so we went to a local spot near Bear River and Rollins Lake.  I got lured into climbing the first rocks I saw(I swear I have a sickness) and busted a shortside inner on my birfield kit.  I believe I will be upgrading to the 30 spline cromo's soon.

Here are a few pics, I didn't get a pic of when it broke, I just wasn't in the mood.  :shakehead:

Here is a snow run early this year.  Lots of fun except for when the SX's don't want to get any traction which is quite often.

always remember a crowded elevator smells different to a midget.

I just got the broken shaft out, partly because I have been busy and partly because it was very difficult to remove.  I did some research and found that OOP'S on the Pirate board has been running this kit for awhile.  So I contacted him hoping that he might know why it wouldn't come out.  He told me that the splines might have gotten twisted inside the diff. and he was correct.   :beerchug:

I ended up welding a peice of 1/4" round bar to the end of the shaft and making a generic slide hammer with it.  After some persuasion it finally came out.  The top pic is the twisted splines and the bottom pic is the new shaft side by side with the old shaft.   :shakehead:

Thanks, the flatbed was extremely easy!  All pieces are exactly 5' long and I used 6 of them.  I wish I had more pics of the build for that but I was in a hurry.
