Any one have any Ideas  Just Started Sat on it

Rockdiver

By The way    Dean Come get your bed

RustyToy

Thats clean!  i like the tire out of the way... is it hard to get out?
I'd like to quit thinking of the present as some minor insignificant preamble to something else~~~~~

Rockdiver

Thanks    It is easyto get out  I took the idea from marlin's rig his pulls up under the bed between the rails  I made the crossmember underthe tire  part of the Hitch so I could drop the tire down between the frame rails  it is held in place by a bolt and wing in center of the wheel

sloyota

looks good!!! i like the tire mount i want to do something very similar to what you got.cant wait to see more.. :beerchug:
I'm not responsable for my own action's.

your b-pillar halo seems to tall and to far away from your body... it will be very hard to tie to an in-cab cage, also it looks like if you were pivoting against something on your rain gutter it looks like your hoop would hang you up...
You win some, you lose some.

Rockdiver

No Hang ups here.  Was the way I wanted it . Going to finish exo when bed is done  will tie in to front and sides  dont want it too close to sun roof or the cab  . Lynn

Rockdiver

No, it always stays the same length, but changes frequently.

Rockdiver

Thanks ,  Yes i am moving it  I am going to turn it down in front of the axle until I can get it to the muffler shop   It blows right at the spare now  Havent drove it but to flex and check Clearances    too darn hot even up here to weld too much in one sitting

Rockdiver

Got some Mud flap brackets this week. Had to order the Flaps  Ordered the tool box inserts Hope to have them this week  Should start loking like a Flat bed Soon

Rockdiver

Tool Boxes In     Need to figure out Lids   Any Ideas ???

MiniSimp

Looking good!
What are you using to cover those compartments?

Rockdiver

Still Working on that one  Might Form some lids and weld angle in facing up  put some weather strip in angle to seal    I have a few tool box Handles that i can sink in  I need to trim up the side diamond plate and tack in on the outer sides top  and a angle frame for the tire lid   If you have any ideas Let me Know   Thanks Lynn

crawlerdan

Rockdiver

Thanks Dan   I am running the Rancho 9000 Remote res shocks   The ride nice and soft on the soft setting  Or like a Brick if on the hard setting  Its nice to be able to adjust them as needed  I run mostly on the softest setting
