I finally have a working temperature gauge.  The first time in the almost 3 1/2 years i have owned the truck.  kinda scarey if you think about it.

6.72:1

I would say that is scary!

You have had much good luck!

Good to know you got that thing working!

It runs at around 140, never got up above 160.  I don't think it has a thermostat in it.

Hmmm, that is nice and cool.

Good for crawling!

I think i finally fixed the front axle leak.  I put a bead of "The Right Stuff" on the thirdmember to housing flange and bolted it back in.  I seems to be holding gear oil finally.  I had tried a couple times before to fix the leak with ultra grey but it never seemed to work.  Time to fix the rear housing leak.  i am soo happy now.

Ramrod

about time, my rearend started leaking alot since the last run i'm gonna try and tighten some bolts tomorrow

Ramrod

"chis creek"  is the creek that flows through his friend chris or "truggys" yard not a public wheeling spot

AlphaRedRooster

Ahh I see.  Thanks for the info  :)

Yep, his own property.  It is only about 100 yards long, but the top part can get kinda interesting if you take the right line.

Hyena

Well, after this weekends trip it looks like the what is left of the glass will be coming out of the whole truck.

Well, i rolled my truck on it's side again infront of my buddies house tonight.  It went pretty far too.  I actually broke the rear window taking it out before the roll, that pretty much sucked big time.  pics to come when i am feeling a little better.

toyhunter

damn I thought my runner was bad, I remember it use to look pretty good now it looks like hell. Are you going to keep wheeling this thing or build it into a buggy or new project
Everyone starts off in life crawling but lots of us grow up and still are crawling around everywhere

RHG

I think he should keep wheeling it and save for a F-Toy body. His suspension, engine, etc are all setup great its just the body is beat to hell and back. After the Fordyce trip I think his truck prefers to be on its side... :yesnod:
