It's kinda sad if you think about it. :rivers: There's only a hand full of original parts left of the the old Willy. So don' think about :smack: It's better now anyway :muscles: :best: :egyptian: :biked: :bud: :driving: :nana: :beerchug:
Well it is what it is. :therethere: If we hadn't gotten this we probably still would be looking for something, or would have spent way more money on something else that was in better shape that you would have torn down anyway to make sure it was done right to begin with. :whip:
Once it's all said and done no one will be the wiser of what the poor guy went through! :cheer: it's all good!

Ok, I got off early to day so I decided to do a flex test before buying the shocks. Here is how it looked. Keep in mind that all the weight is not in it yet and the front springs are still stiff. I got 24" under the front wheel.

Update, Today we bent up new nerf bars, made a second stand off and welded in the lower cage supports. Also started making shock towers for the front. We will pull the body tomorrow to finish the welding and paint the frame.

Now on to the important stuff, The welding on the frame is now done and now it's on to the painting. I think I will be calling Marlin this week to see if they have the 4.70 gear sets in stock, if so I'm ordering them. Here are some pics of our progress this weekend.

Mr Willy-

how has that bender been working?  Judging by the pics, it works great.  I'm considering purchasing one and was looking for some real-world feedback.

Have a   you deserve it!
