Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

We can't tell you.  It's all a highly secretive operation at the moment, as it may change the rockcrawling industry forever.  In fact, just telling you this may get duffil and I killed the next time Mark makes it out to CA

Hello Mark, i also have to make a custom shroud for my KZT. It looks like you are using the original fan?
How much space is between the fan and the shroud?

There is about an inch all the way around. That is a lot in my book, but it is the same as the OEM. 19" dia.

I have solid engine mounts so the engine doesn't move much at all, but if you have the stock mounts you may need the extra room.

:shudder:

Not too bad, I have gotten used to all the little rattles and you have to check to make sure all the bolts stay tight., don't want to have any pieces fall off.

You've never seen the Mammoth in person have you? :gap: Mark has more tools on board than most people do in their garages :gap:
no havent gotten to see the mammoth in person but hopefully i'll get to before i ship out for basic.

solid motor mounts really depend on the motor. if the motor doesnt vibrate much you can, but dont try it with a cummins haha. friend of mine tried that in his late 90's dodge, didnt go too well.

well it looks like i might have a job again but i wont know until sometime around the middle of next week. been a pain getting a job because when places search my backround they see that i'm going into the airforce in a couple months and tell me "ya we like your resume and your experiance and training, but we're looking for somebody that is going to be here for a long time." but this shop is looking for somebody to do some basic work, mostly exhaust and said he would get back to me by middle of next week. :fingerscrossed: i've also got somebody interested in my 4runner for 1200 so we'll see how that goes.

so mark, whats next after the fan shroud is in? air bag suspension with automatic stabilizing option, 4 wheel steering, lower crawl ratio?
