The spare third is back toward the beginning somewhere. That was last year's mod before MCR4. We actually had to make use of it one cold rainy day back in Dec. on a trail here in FL while we were out with the Jeep Club.

I knew I missed it somewhere.  The buildup is so long that you kinda forget some things about it when its a freakin 50 pages long

Lady Di

Mr. Willy,
I am new here and have complete;y gone through this build-up from page 1...to "50".  My hat is off to you (and the misses of course... looks like she has been much help).  The entire build-up has impressed me with you abilities.  Is there anything you can't do?  Not to mention you did it all in you garage!  Thought maybe you could just install a prop and some wings and just fly the thing up to the top of the mountain.... but that would take all the fun out of the trip now wouldn't it? You my friend are the man! You and the misses have done a great job with the documentation as well as the buil-up.  I have learned much from just reading about the whole process you went through from start...to now.  Please keep us informed of all the future progress.  And again....GREAT JOB!  MY HAT IS OFF TO YOU!
Lighting scares me far less than being left behind by the country I so love....PLEASE SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!!!!

PS. maybe some day I will get to build that helicopter I always wanted, I mean I have almost as much invested in this project as one of these. http://www.rotorway.com/intro.html

Looking good Mr & Mrs. Mammoth! When I spoke to Diane a few weeks ago she said that you were building an ExO. I'm still trying to figure out how you find time to work, eat sleep and post one the computer?  :beerchug: , we'll hook up soon.
Lator.......
Nissan's need Marlin too. Won't you help?

motorider228

i'm sure you have answered this in the past and i'm sorry for asking but what's the deal with the diff on the front bumper?

crawlerdan

he uses it as a spare..you  know, just in case...i think hes actually needed it a few times because he was, and may still be running a high pinion in the rear...which could be bad. but answer is..its a spare third :beerwhack:

motorider228

oh thats cool, so if he blows up his current thirds or something he can just pull the third out of there and swap it into the diff?

crawlerdan

Willy Mammoth

OK, now what is this all about?
