Been busy this weekend and here is what we got done.

I took the rear springs out and added a leaf to help support the weight on the back. I also turned some of the leafs around so the longer side would face forward to help with spring wrap.

We did a test pack to see how much weight would be on it and how everything will fit. I heard Diane say " there's still room" I don't know if that is a good thing or not

Also had to see how it flexes with the stiffer springs, It will do till I can do the 4 link.

First thing this morning I got the rcok lights all wired up and working.

I had an idea this morning to use the front bumber for storing my metal stock.

Also changed the manifold gasket, installed the exhaust temp gauge and installed the boost gauge.

I also bent up some extra bars and welded them on the back of the EXO to help protect the rear corners.

Notice how much nicer the bend looks on that new piece, I did that with the new die in the PT 105 bender.

Too bad I hadn't ordered that die before doing the EXO.

Not only am I a good helper 52 pages in two years... and hey I'm a good cook too... 30 lbs in ten years.

He's finally up to a size I can buy off the shelves.

OK time to come clean, I have been bothered by the fact the Toyota springs are designed to locate the placement of the diff from the front and I put the shackles in the front.

This caused the springs to bend and kink at the rear strap, so much so that I have a problem flipping the shackles. I added a stop to keep them from going to the point they flip, but this did nothing for the spring problem.

I figure that if I actually do some of the harder stuff this year I may break a spring.

So I am working on reversing the shackles to keep this from happening.

Here is the new spring mount plates I made tonight.

I want to have all the parts made and ready to go on before starting to cut into it because I only have till Thursday to finish it or we will be staying home.
