:funny: I do that all the time!
MrW just has to see that others aren't making it and makes it a point to show he can. MOst of the time does, too. But that's in mud, not on rocks. NOt that we haven't had damage from trees in the mud holes, but it's still not rocks.
But either way, I've got the camera's ready to document it all. :snapshot: I'll probably look like a japenese tourist out at the Rubicon!

:bananasplit:  We are one step closer to having this ready. I spent the weekend making an overhead dash and a spare tire carrier. I still need to finsh the latches on the dash and carrier. I also need to make the tire mount fore the spare. I plan to mount the high lift to the carrier as well. I made the carrier heavy enough that it should hold the weight of the Willy if it dropps off a ledge on to the tire. :crossed:

:haha:

Looks like the only thing that's keeping the Willys from tipping backwards from the weight of that tire on the back is it's jammed up under the garage door!

I love your fab work Mr. W.

Now however I have an additional request. When you weigh it, weigh the front axle weight and rear axle weight.

When are you going to weigh it? :dunno:

I can't wait to see it at the round up either! I am very excited that MrW is able to cross these two off the to-do list (or at least will be soon). Time is quickly approaching.
I've got to start planning on everything we need to take with us on the trail and test fitting all that.

While MrW is busy building I am starting to get things fitted for the trip. I found these MK2 Rocket boxes at an army surplus store in Idaho. They are complete with water proof gasket, removable lid, and 6 heavy duty latches. They will be great for storing our clothes, camping supplies tools and spare parts. The cooler and jerry can fit perfectly behind them.
