when you freak out cuz marlin crawler is down for a few hours?
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

When you base your first impressions on what people drive.  If they drive any Daimler Chrysler product you already know they're  :stopit:.  Honestly who wants to own anything who is KNOWN for producing CRAP that gives up at 70k miles???  I think it is funny that the new Heeps(with the mini-van motors) are having troubles with slipping trannies.  NOOOOO not a Dodge with a bad tranny?!?!

Why didn't you tell me this before I bought my Durango, sitting in the garage with a bad trans. :rivers:

is that the difference between a carbed 22r and a efi 22re like horsepower wise?

About 10-15% in the middle to upper revs with the right exhaust.  JUST enough to keep from driving around in 4th gear all the time.(mine does exactly 65 at full throttle in 5th on a 2-3% grade)

- When you install a tach because you need it. This goes with the getting on a freeway comment above.

Mine, btw, is perfectly safe to merge or get on a freeway though I do have to not be afraid to rev it upwards of 4500rpm at times.  Those miserably short onramps on the Pasadena Freeway(110) come to mind.

Not kidding.  Everyone rolls through this at 5-10mph.

Welcome to Los Angeles. :)

That's the oldest freeway in the world, actually.  Designed for 20-25mph speeds back in the 20s but everyone goes 70.

Great little roller coaster with tons of twists and turns.  The locals actually love it.   :hammerhead:

if you accidentally drop it in 1st at 55mph and 5200 rpm, break the 1st/2nd shift fork and still make it 60 miles home using 3rd gear high/low in the city

who-ever posted bout the third gen doubles... if you search ebay for hilux snorkel, theres a company that sells snorkels on ebay and thats there picture is a third gen double cab, only thing I dont like is the 2/3 wheel well bed 1/3 wheel well cab, but I understand it, I wonder if they made them "longbeds" with a standard size bed as the "long" bed. but then you would still have the cab notched for tires (not a big notch but still)
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
