People out here seem to be QUITE impressed w/ the truck! (thanks ,Rocky and Lee, for all your help w/ the build-up!) Can ANYBODY tell me HOW TO show my rig UNDER MY TITLE?!?!?!?!?!?!

Well my name is Micah. I am new to this site, however not new to wheelin'. Though I have only been doing it 2 years. Anyways I have a 1984 Ext. Cab Toyota pickup. Solid axle ofcourse  :) All that is done to it now is tube bumpers front and rear. Have a rear spare mount that swivels open so I can access the bed. 6 inch lift up front achieved by springs and shackles, bilstein 5125 shocks on the way. 31" BFG mudders. 22r motor with cam and tri mill header and flowmaster muffler, no cats. Inside I have prp racing seats with 5 point harnesses. And more stuff is surely on its way. Oh and cant forget the custom rattle can paint outside. Hope to meet some cool people that are willing to share their knowledge with me, because I am open to all suggestions, ideas and tips/techniques for anything. And thanks for reading this post.

Hey, I just joined this forum.  I am very happy to find a Toyota forum like this one.  Anyway, I always ALWAYS wanted a Toyota 4x4.  Got one this summer. 1990 Standard cab.  Some rust, 192,000 miles, smelled like cigarette smoke (Still does...yuck), needs a new bumper and it came with brand new FJ cruiser rims and tires.  (HUGE selling point over the 192,000 miles).  It runs very well, it looks better than you are imagining and I love it.

My name is Matthew and I'm in the Navy (14 years TODAY!), stationed in Indianapolis, IN (for now).

Wow, that is awesome!  Not bad, 100,000 a decade, huh?  Bet you read 192,000 and thought it probably doesn't get driven, just sits in the garage all the time.   Thanks for the welcome.

Now my question is, why is it that when I try to comment in threads that have not had a comment in over 120 days, is there a statement in red that I should probably start a new thread? I am only writing this because of the video displayed.

It is just a notification that the thread hasnt had any action in over 120 days. You dont need to start a new thread by any means. It just means that the thread has been dead for a while and perhaps you might want to start a new one. I reply to old threads all the time. If the thread is relavent to your question reply to it.

Hello All...
Another noob newbie here....at least to this site..
First Thanks Marlin for the great site and products..!!
Although I am new to the site, I'm an old goat literally when it comes to 4 wheelin and trucks....have built and 4 wheeled several, Yota
Jeep, Bronco, full sized in the past 25 or so years..
My first Yota was a 83 shortbed SR5 4x4 that I bought in 84, built, wheeled and generally abused all during college. Man I wish I would have kept that truck..!!!.....Back then to aftermarket was pretty limited NWOR and Downey were pretty much it....but even then that truck would out jeep a Jeep..!!
My current project is another 83 shortbed SR5 4x4.....That I cant' wait to get going with all the great new products out there for these trucks now..WOW...too many choices....I don't know where to start....Too many things I want to do
Its all just time and money.....and here on earth is the only place you can spend either, so do it wisely and enjoy it while you can..!

Located in South Texas...83 Yota shortbed 4x4...still stock..starting to learn and build

Newbie here, I drive a 02 dbl cab with a lame fabtech lift, to be eventually swapped for a sas. I have an all pro front bumper, marlin sliders and soon to get a rear tube bumper. I wheel the  :pokinit: out of ifs, but it definatly has its limitations. I plan some future mods, so it is nice to read about what's best. Thanks 4dryota
