There are three important things to consider as a new member.

1) Private Messages. Due to new members sending spam to existing members via Private Messages, you must establish yourself as someone who desires to participate here by reaching a small number of posts in order to Activate the Personal Messaging feature of the Forum. Also, Don't Reply Directly To Notification Emails! See this thread for more info.

2) The Classified. Again, due to new members creating new threads in the Parts for Sale and Rigs for Sale Forums regarding non-Off Roading items, you must establish yourself as someone who desires to participate here by reaching small number of posts in order to Establish Access to these two Forums.

3) Picture Attachment. In order to use our picture and file attachment system, you will need to advance to the 2nd level member group. This is achieved by amassing a certain number of post count so that we know you are here to stay and not here to spam. The best way to do this is to post an Introductory thread in this board so everyone can get to know you! Click here to do that now!

4) Watch this before posting ! (requires Flash)

Freeyoda

Newb here. Was a TLCA member from '92 through '01. Sold my '64 fj40 a few years ago. Last Christmas bought myself an '85 pickup that already had 33's and a 3" body lift. Has a Chevy V6 bolted to a TH350. All stock diffs. Changed them to a electric locking 4.56 in the back. Borrowed a friends nearly new 4.56 r&p for the front. Hope to put another electric locker up front end when the big money falls into my bank account (yeah, like that's going to happen).

Freeyoda

Never actually crawled with Marlin, but we were at the same TLCA event in '92 where I was doing safety checks. He was so nice to weld Dave Rethoret's trailer hitch back on. Good 'ol Marlin lit up that welder right in camp and stick welded that sucker right back in place. Ya just have to respect a fellow wheeler when he is so well prepaired and willing to lend a hand.

jeeeepspaynker
