And Drivelines..
Won't cost too much though to just get them re-tubed.

I know someone who could probably help you out on that..  maybe...  you know why..

How much for a re-tube?

Is that the paint that is on your truck now? If so was it on craigslist a few months ago?

yota_krawler

No wasn't on craigslist

Got the truck in my driveway. Feels good to have her home. Plans are:
1. Get it smogged
2. New ring and pinion for the front
3. Either two more sx's or 4 new tires.

Then putting dual stocks together. The wheel base is 126" center hub to center hub. It needs to be shorter. But I'm unsure how to go about it. Any ideas?

Yah, I'll trade ya for my 88. :D Wheelbase is right around 109" ;)

In all seriousness, bob the front of the bed and shorten the wheelbase to match. I've got some pics of a 3rd gen like that at home, i'll try and post them tonight.

yota_krawler

Lol nah,

I already bobbed the rear of the bed. It's 5'2" but if I shorten the frame I have to relocate my gas tank, cut off the front spring mounts, make a new body mount for the bed, and bob the front of the bed, and have a 4'8" bed, tool box and full size spare barley fits now... All that work for 6"? Doesn't seem worth it?

Then it's still 120", my 85 was 116" and I thought that was pretty long.

Guess that works for now, I will post the actual pic tonight. I'm at work right now. I'm going to repaint it, needs new tires, I think I'm going to swap the grill and headlights for the 93-95 4runner.

I sold the sliders so I gotta get another set. Need to build or figure out a front bumper. Hell I would even put a stock on on for now if someone gave me one... Needs gears and a locker for the front.

Still got quite a bit to do but at least it's the project I originally started! I got this thing stock and built it all so...

I don't like the camo... I painted it satin black and tan, he painted the tan camo. I'm doing hunter green and silver on the bottom. So 2 tone I guess

I got the green yesterday, need to get the grey or silver or whatever. Interior is grey so it will look good in and out. Well it should anyway.

I think I need a new TPS, how do you know if they are bad?

When I plug it in the truck runs crappy. When I unplug it, it idles high, but runs good... Is that a good indication that it is bad? If so... Anyone got one for a decent price?
