so I never noticed but I really like how you made your hanger, simple yet very effective. I also love the stance as well. I can't wait untill I start my swap now haha its making me very eager.

Thanks, ya i made rear spring hangers for my rear, but they were to skinny for chevy springs. So i got 2x2 and notched it so they would be resessed and used them for the front. had alot more welding surface too that way. then just capped the ends.

i also made the shackles. they are hella easy to make

yes they are :P i made my shackles. 3/8s plate lol thick bastids. 5.5in shackles.

got the head off. It was a pita. Mike got pics so those will be up later.

It was nasty, milky, and burnt valves. Also got a muffler today now just need a cat.

will be working on getting it cleaned up so i can get it down to putney for rebuild.

any suggestions on what to do for cleaning of the motor. it is nasty. oh and while i am in it what should i replace?

oh man you got the "MUD BUTT" in your engine dude ha ha! run a bit of deisel through it then flush it, then do it again then flush and fill! BAM clean as new ya know?   :thumbs:  trucks lookin sweet thats my next build up i get pumped checkin the 3 gen builds! keep er movin!

What are you meaning by runnign diesel through it? in the oil?

Cody, any parts that are off clean in a solvent tank. If you don't have access to one I can do it at my work for you.
