try adjusting it first.

x2

Replace those crappy phillips head bolts with hex head bolts from your local Ace hardware or equivalent.

QUick & dirty TPS adjustment:
With the screws slightly loose, very gently turn the TPS until your idle DROPS.  That's where you tighten it.

If that doesn't work, just buy one from Toyota & save yourself a lot of headaches.  TOYOPARTSMAN on Yotatech has GREAT prices (Neunan Toyota Parts); his email is garys@toyotaofnewnan.com.  They offer discounts for yotatech members, probably for M/C members as well.  Can't hurt to ask.

I have the same grill on my truck, I didn't like it at first but it looks good with my bumper, so it's kinda growing on me.

The stupid key board on my iPhone kept goin away and I hit post lmao

Anyway, the grille i just put on is off of a 92 4runner. It has bigger head lights instead of the 5x7 sealed head lights. Pickups didnt come with that only 4runners.

No, I had to drill holes for the head light brackets and use bolts with nuts. But other than that it went right in. Ho, remember that 3rd gen extra cab on the 85 extra cab frame with the 4runner head light and grille swap? That's where I got it from, and I had to do something cause I put a 3rd gen grille on my 85... :gap:

from that truck or the idea from that lol
I think my 4runner would look much nicer with that swap. a 96-01 swap would be even nicer! i wonder if its possible?

I got the idea from that truck, I was for sale on here for awhile i think in Idaho, it was black. Anyway I like the look, it's growin on my. When I get a front bumper on there it will look good.

I'm not sure about 3rd gen swap. I almost did 1st gen taco, but I think i like this better.

It would be pretty cool to swap a full front clip off a first gen taco. I might have to give that a try if I can find the parts :dunno:

I'm not sure about 3rd gen swap. I almost did 1st gen taco, but I think i like this better.

It was in Southern Idaho, I had a loan approved on it and had the loan to give the guy... made arrangements to get it and as i was leaving he told me he sold it already.

94 excab on am 85 reg cab with 85 axles f/r, 94 4runner clip, subaru hood scoop, 2rz, dbl bob, etc.

but yeah looks good Cody.

and a 2st gen taco should line up... may not bolt up directly. but the body lines should. been a while since i measured them out

Yep, that one! I liked that truck a lot! I don't know about second gen taco but first gen taco looks quite a bit like the 3rd gen Pickup

Thanks mike, also have started on rock lights. Small LED pods from walmart. I like em, not overly bright but theyll do the trick. Plus they were in clearance!

I'm thinkin of doing a dove tail... No real reason, but if I do the rear then I should do the front? Idk just a thought kickin around upstairs.

Id get it going first, I dont see the real reason for u to dovetail unless your just wanting to for a project it would just be less bed space for you.  My $0.02

i picked up another set tonight. Last one they had. Im going to put one more set up front and then run one in front of the rear tires.

I got the :pokinit: for new mud flaps, round instead of square. better fit and cleaner looking. so we need to fab that up and weld it on. I also got material for a new tcase cross member.
