first thing today was to mount the a/c  unit,  the old gasket was gone  so i had Mom help me  and i rolled a old sock  and  taped it  to the  unit,  i was  worried it wouldnt work but  it did  :woohoo:

Now when you turn on the air your truck will smell like stinky socks.

That is supremely gheto...good use of duct tape.  I approve this buidup.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

but  here you can see the  sleeving  ,  2  opposing  1x1x.180 angle iron  welded  to the  lower  part

i drilled  holes   and  made plug welds,  trust me  i wouldnt ride  in this  if  it  wasnt  "right"

Yep, I came to visit Glen tonight. Though I wouldn't run it, I think it'll be fine.

The lawnmower blades are apparently only an attachment point for the seat  :dunno: That too is okay, I guess  :headscratch:

After two trips to U-Pull-It (45 minutes one way), your springs arrived!  :rara: so now mount them CORRECTLY!! I don't wanna see any more of that booty-fab crap. Pony up and cut up some 3x3" square tube and make a couple hangers for the front. DON'T mount them long side to the rear or I'll take them back!  :spank: :idiot:

Keep the progress rollin', Glen!  :spin:

When you get the truck done, you need to go find the lady that caused the accident and park it in front of her house. She'd freak!! "O'm'god it's back from the dead!!"

well i decided  to  lay under the truck and :yikes:  my welding didnt look good  :headshake:

so  for the past 3 hours  off and on taking breaks  to rest my arm  ive been welding  overhead  :thud:

i have alot better fusion of the metal now  ,  still  doesnt look that great  but  it'll do

i also  did alot of  dual stick fill welding up top,   after it finally all cooled down    and i could move again :thud:   i mixed up a little bondo  and sealed everything off

i will watch for cracks later on,  if  i see any cracks,  in my welds,   that i cant fix  i will  just  try and find a new cab

sorry no pics,
