Can you swap all the mechanics over to the tank on your old compressor? Thats what I would do if ya can get it to work.
i could but its  only a  10 gallon,  but it might be a better choice

actually  i could just route  a   air line into  the old tank and  maybe a  old semi  truck tank,   then   i wouldnt need to worry about it

Was the wiring bad on that cab? Why did ya choose to not use the 83 wiring, with the blade fuses, instead of the old buss fuse setup from the 79?

He's probably going to do something like that red custom dash(can't find it right now) after he Rhinolines it.  Can't say I blame him - it's simple, direct, and looks factory clean.

- Rhinoline or similar.
- Custom dash made out of steel plate.
- Two Corbeau or similar seats.

Um NO! Glen is toyota purist, dash included. I doubt he is building a one off dash for his daily driver.

i kinda wanted too but  it had mouse damage  and the hood has been off  for like 4 years,  and the  plugs  where all excessively dry rotted

i like the blade fuses  but  no such luck

i MIGHT  swap the fuse box though,  wonder how had that would be  :dunno:

no  no custom dash for this truck

I don't know how hard it would be but the later fuse box may have some extra fuse spots your early fuse box didn't have, expescially if its an sr5. If it does it would be great if it did you could set up some extra power points for your accessories like rocklightd and such.

What would be cool would be a lift-up dash with the fuze box in the middle in plain sight, not under the driver's kickpanel.

did you mock up the tie rods as well? make sure you dont have any clearance issues with the tierods touching. as long as the steering shaft is straight and there are no tie rod clearance issues you should be good. definitely plate that though. looking good so far
