Have you got a pic of this? I don't see why you would have to cut and I didn't have to

not yet,  i think if  i hadnt moved the  steering box as far forward as i did it would be ok

So since you have to cut for the steering box any how, why not leave the body lift off? I know you need the clearance for the v6 radiator, but you could always drop it down a little and we can build ya a skid of sorts along with your front bumper.

well,  i  didnt  really  WANT   to  because  1  it was a gift from Vman,  and 2  it  makes it easier  to mount my sliders higher on the frame

btw  i cut the front  for the  steering box  with my stick welder

decided to remove the short bottom leaf,  drop the truck a tiny bit AND  i dont have to buy new U bolts  

home brew  spring clamp  to keep things  in place

removing center tie bolt

Wow I would have never thought you would have to cut the inner fender. I would have guessed the core support.

i think that small notch  on the bottom of the core support is all i need

yep,  and the air chisel works  AWESOME took the bed off the  old truck in about 20 minutes

I must have missed it, are those 4 inch Marlin front springs?
If so I am interested to see how pulling that little leaf affects them.  Mine aren't settling much and I am thinking about puling that out as well.

no they are 5 inch Allpro springs,  probably not much  but  i needed  that 3/8 of a inch  so i could reuse  the u bolts i had
