thanks,  i put a sleeve  inside the frame on the  bolt  nearest  the  axle on the steering box,  i did the other one  and thought it would be ok  but  decided  beef is better than chicken

also started painting the frame  gloss black,  rustoleum brush on.

cut the donor cab,  but  i need a sawzall  to make the last 2 cuts,

it could probably have been bent or beat. I didn't do it, so a plasma cutter happened to get too close.

The top of the box is kinda in the way of the inner fender by like 1/2"

I also think that if the cab or fenders had been taken off it may not have been all that necessary...

well i finished  the  2 cuts on the cab  with my stick welder  turned up to 175 amps  :yikes:

then  used  the  lift  to  move the cab aka front clip with floor :suprised:

now  i can get it prepped  for  the new roof  along with some serious BEEF  to the floor ,just in case,

already drilled out the plug welds  so the seem  (when finished) will look factory from the outside

Ya think you could put together a trail only rig?  Just some thing with like a motor/drive train, and a cab on a frame?  No fenders or bed etc?
