I can't see some of your pics so I'm guessing photobucket is messing up again?  Who's trucks are these, and how far did you stick your foot up their ass for letting the grass grow around them?

RIP KYOTA

Glen go for reliability.  This is the reason I took out my 22rte and going for the 22re.  Once you start doing modifications then you will start to have problems!  Stick with the 22R.  Fix up the 86 turbo and either use it as a spare truck or sell it!  I'm agreeing with Mark big time on this!

Rocksurfer

I had no problems with my 86 Turbo 4Runner, was as reliable as any other Toyota I've owned. In fact it was the highest mileage Toyota I ever owned, I sold it with 250,000 on the OD only rebuilt the turbo once and that was at 200,000. They only issue it had when I sold it was the  #4 cylinder had bad rings so it was pretty much a dead cyl.

so IF  the  motor  isnt  damaged from the wreck  i will swap it over

I think that's the smartest thing to do right now.  The 22r should be fine, since the body and that bumper from hell took most of the blow!

I'd go with a more modern 2.7 myself, but that's just me....    :dunno:

I don't think a 2.7 would be very "budget" at this point. even though the whole thing kinda lost budget status a while back

Budget? what budget? Too many trucks and now he can't make up his mind which one to build and which one to use for parts.

I think you need a couple more trucks that don't run.

How is the frame on the turbo? Maybe you could just get that one going for now then SAS it later.  :dunno:

dang...that sucks....but, I gotta ask, WHY post nudies of your girl ONLINE?
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
