why not ruf and 4" marlin then?  that would be a killer combo.

Do you have manual or power windows?  I have the power window regulators in my garage if you need those to.  Let me know.

they're manual windows, thanks though.

so my 30 spline longs came in the mail today, as most of you already know with the recent birth of our first child.. progress on the 4runner will slow down a bit but i'll keep posting as I progress.

Good to see you got a little time off and got to go relax in the garage.  I bet its nice having a vehicle that you can fit into the garage when you want to work on it.

Hey Chris, if you talk to Kellert tell him to call me. I got his message about needing to know some info on the truck but my phone took a dive and I don't have his number.

On a lighter note,
Gonna be getting the rear 3rd gone through and checked out. Then I plan on smogging it (within the next week hopefully)  right now work is busy and i'm working 6 days a week, pulling on-call and helping my wife with the baby.. so it's been ridiculously busy!

I'll post progress pic's once I get 'em

got the rear end completely rebuilt with a new set of Sierra 5.29's, detroit locker, new bearings and seals.

It's all back together, I just gotta get some oil in the diff and bleed the brakes.

Slowly but surely..

Next will be pulling out the front end for a rebuild, then moving on to installing springs and suspension.

its dead!  so I got the main fuses replaced and it has juice now but wont start.

I havn't started pulling things apart to see if i'm getting either no fuel or no spark...  it cranks over though...

It's been sitting for about a year or so.... I'll post updates soon.

Hope to have it running and back on the road within the next month.

If anyone has a lead on some stock rear's i'm interested... I think i'll put my 4" marlins in the rear and do rears up front.

I should hopefully have some progress pic's soon, i've been chugging along at it each weekend when I have time. My daughters to the age now where I can bring her out and just let her run around the yard or sit in the 4runner while I work. She loves sitting in the Runner... hah... I can't wait to let her drive it on the trail.

yea it was dead, brought back to life and then died again.. now it's been reincarnated....

front end rebuild will be on it's way from Marlin soon  :)

gonna be swapping out the tires for some 37's, possibly 40's... not sure yet... i sure wish they still made the old school Goodyear MTR pattern, I don't care for the new one's.

I don't care for the new ones either. What are you doing with the 36s on it right now? If you plan to sell them let me know a price I might be interested.

Them new-style MTRs seem to be holding up well on the rigs I know of; it just bugs me they are directional now. What the F for? Why, Goodyear, WHY?
