A dolly is much easier to handle and store. But consider the drawbacks. One, you really can't do much backing up if you get caught in such a situation. So, better route planning will be a must. Two, if you have any tire, axle or suspension failures, it could mean you're stuck fixing them for your ride home.

good points. now i need to find a nice 15-1800 lb trailer in the 14-16ft range.
ARB called me and suggested some things, and if that doesnt work they will send me a new what ever they feel is wrong, sounded like switch relay and harness, lol. nice guys, thats customer service for you!

That's good too. I was talking about the next step in troubleshooting your electrical problem. I always figure that if I can fix it myself I don't have to go through a bunch of hassle with returns, shipping or more importantly...WAITING! Unless of course it turns out to be something expensive. :gap:

brockbuilt85

haha, i can wait. its either that or disassemble the wiring harness and find the issue, but if they are willing to send a new one for free, i have other projects that require my attention (most of which dont even involve the rock pig). the only other thing i thought about doing is try to grab ACC power from another source.
heck i still need to put air to that tank to make sure its still good!

got everything out of the way and my holes drilled for the tank, but then realized i would need a second set of hands to put the bolts on the studs up top in the bed (duh). almost!

Would a pair of Vise-Grips hold what you need held?  :dunno:

brockbuilt85

i would have to hold up the tank from underneath and put the bolts on in the bed at the same time, i probably could use a ratchet strap across the frame to do it, but it was getting late last night when i got to this point so i called it a night, plus this afternoon i can the GF to put the nuts on while i hold the tank in place. then its finishing running hose and pressurize. :woohoo:
