Thinking about eliminating my air tank, i talked to ARB and the said that the tank was too big for the compressor i had, and it might be easier on the compressor to just have direct lines to the side air chucks for tire fill up, it did seem to struggle to fill the tires after the Rubicon and it should be able to fill 4 35s on a single duty cycle, and it cut out on the 3rd 33.....

so update is there is no update, i have the parts to replace the rear brakes and the gas tank fix looks like it will work, just need to fix the connections. i cant seem to get the time to get up to the shop (afternoons are spent entertaining my baby boy). so it just sits there mocking me.
there is however going to be a change in the rig situation in the wind, im picking up a 94 FJ80 this weekend as a family winter car/possible future expedition/trail rig. so we will see what happens in the future. but either way i need to get this one back together......

Working on the shocks, would there be an issue  mounting with the bolt going oposite direction?

Nope! No problem at all. The upper end doesn't move nearly as much as the bottom end of the shock. Mmmmm......did you cut out your floor? 😁

Hahah no way, how would I fit all my wife's stuff in there if I did ;) just a pic for reference. Sweet now all I have left to do is some welding, put Gass tank back in and bleed brakes and this project is done!

what is i did it opposite so the top goes front to back and the axle goes side to side? its going to be angled similar how you did Daves bu the axle mount will be on the side of the axle or maybe a bit angled down.

almost got the gas tank in yesterday, the filler neck was being a pregnant dog. i also need to extend the small line that goes up to the filler hole as it needed to be cut off to get out. is that a vent or what? then put the shield on and put gas in it for a test fire. after that its putting in the passenger seat, putting in the drive line, bleeding the brakes and shes good to go.
the next project will be replacing the front shocks and rewiring the accessories so it looks/works better. and figuring out how to mount a jerry can holder on my rear bumper. but mos of that is optional for wheeling sooner :gap:

On the plus side I fired it up today and everything was working well, on the minus side I have been having serious stupid brain getting the gas tank in but I figured it out once I removed my head from my ass. Should have the gas tank back in weds.

Gas tank is in,
but now it looks like i might have a leak in the high pressure line that ties into the tank that is attached to the truck. one step forward two steps back........

I just built a fuel line for my swap, I used prolite 350 hose. hardest thing to locate was correct fitting coming off hard line from tank. this is what I used. worked great http://www.3sx.com/store/comersus_viewItemBundle.asp?idProduct=30271
