Actually it is off exactly the same amount on both sides.

I had everything lined up dead on, but then I realized that the bar sat too high so I trimmed and inch and a half out of the feet I had made on the bottom and when I went to install it didn't line up perfect anymore.  I just patched it cause I didn't feel like going crazy and relief cutting it and all kinds of crap.c

The BIG Reveal!
Pros:
I like the cedar...looks really nice against the black paint
I like the flip up board with the latch...makes me happy.
I like the tail lights...not hooked up yet.

Cons:
The bed is obviously not level.  My measurements must have been off and since I can't really see the side of the truck from in the garage, I didn't notice it.  Easy fix, just frustrating.
Along the same line, the paint on the dr side is thin, can see primer through it.  Also couldn't see it from in the garage...tiny stupid garage.
The rear fuel line needs some more protection
Maybe it needs a rail on the dr side?  Seems naked over there.
Not sure about the tire carrier.  Like the position, maybe it needs some protection or something?  It looks like it is floating in space.

I actually have a nice idea for protecting that line.  I am def going to slice the feet at the bottom and space the back up to level the bed.
I am not sure about the real roll bar either.  That might need to be pulled off and re-worked a bit.  I think I mat add a rail to the Dr side...it seem so low.  I need to stare at it for a while and figure things out.  I will ponder over Turkey Day and decide when I get back.

Looks good. IMO

The rear hoop needs bracing.
Get rid of the spare tire carrier it just looks funky and having a spare is over rated these days. How often does anyways rip a sidewall on a super swamper and become stranded? These tires have pretty good side walls and aired down they can withstand a beating.
It would look good with the other side matched and the spare mounted on the back or on a roof rack or something.... Oh and of course level it out.

Well, I like the security of a spare and there are clubs that will not allow you on a run without one, so...I will think on it.

The wood looks awesome!!!  you should build a tire carier for the other side and then you could use them like wheelie bars just goose and continue driving on the back four!!!    I finally get it, this whole time I thought I was looking at the back of a truck...  LOL looks good.

More I think on it, more I am leaning to changing that rear roll bar.

I hate the roll bar.  Every time I look at it in those pictures it pisses me off.  Gonna have to change it.

Doesn't look right with the body lines or something.  It just looks wrong.  Sticks out, doesn't work with the rest of the truck.  I think I am gonna cut it down and make it the height of the bottom of the window.  I will either go without a full hoop back there, or build a tube hoop over it and run cross braces down to the oval tubing.  Not sure yet.

I also need to figure out a plan for storage/cooler, etc.  I don't have that figured out either.

Wow what a nice way to put it!! LOL

I was thinking it would look cool to have a cooler/chest or whatever  fitted to the opposite side of the spare, to give symetry?   I dont know it might look cool...  Is it possable to chop one of those metal coleman coolers to buckle down and fit the shape of the bed on the drivers side?

Try putting a spare gas tank or cooler or some type of lockable box opposite of the spare tire I like the spare in that location.  Run bars just above and below the side windows connecting the rear and middle hoops.  I think that would look good.  However I think it looks good as it sits, once its level.
