that looks like stick from the spatter and pattern of the poop yellow marks on the paint, but not to sure

Wire...the yuckyness is from the flux core.  Don't really have room for gas bottles and such.

yup, cheapo Clarke 135 that replaced my ultra-cheapo HF welder that lasted a year before meltdown.  This one has been good for nearly 2 years...and still going strong.  Welds up to 1/4 inch without too  much difficulty.

are you gunna build a lil cage around it to protect the tire or just say  it and take the risk

Not sure yet.  It is gonna stay like it is for now.  I wanna get it together and wheel it a time or two before I decide if or what it needs next.  Best to let the rocks be my guide.

Yes. I would do an X brace with 1.75  tube.

I am not too worried about strength, it should be pretty decent...I think it needs the crossbar to break up all that empty space.  For looks you know

You all do realize this is the "C"-hoop right?  See pic for B-hoop.  I really isn't even near any passengers as the rear seats are likelty to be removed du to unuseableness.

Got the last coat of poly on the decking and finished off the first can of black paint.  I am hoping tomorrow to finish with one good even coat of black and assemble the deck and lights.  I would like to get it out of the garage by the afternoon cause I NEED to clean up some.
