Well, just today I was in my Land Cruiser and I waved at a lifted JEEP that was coming my way.  He waved at first but as he passed his wave turned to a finger and he exclaimed "F'n Toyota"...

I wanted to park on his hood and piss on his windshield just to see the expression on his face.

Why leave it at piss? Take a :pokinit: on his windshield, and throw some dead fish in the cab. Might improve the smell that A-HOLE left in there!

If I spent 20k on a body, frame, engine and title then I had to add 15k in parts to it to keep up with a cheap little import truck I'd be a bit pissed off too.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

I've got some stuff to go along with these heep loving bastards.  I've been doing some research on an up comming moab trip, and it seems that were not the only ones that have problems with "THEM". I stumbled across an xterra site that had trip reports and pics, alot of the picture comments from the author stated that heep drivers were bashing on there rigs too everytime one of the nissans made it up a trail that the jeeps couldn't.

Heres the link, and if anyones too lazy to read through the pictures i'll go through and post up the comments that the xterra guys had to say. Just let me know :)

The more i read about the comments of jeep owners and the waste a waves i've handed out to them the more i grow to hate the a-holes.  I think were actually starting to answer the question to this thread. I'm glad that we have actual proof to why most of us are bias against them, they've got this mentality of thinking that their :pokinit: is a gift from the wheeling gods and all others are inferior.  Well come the end of march when were in moab and someone starts running their mouth about how crappy toyota's are and how wounderfull they're jeep is, i'm gonna blow my top and let em have it.

I'm sure some of you that get 4wd toyota owner magazine have read about marlin, his truck and how his company started.  I'm also sure that if you did read it, you read where some of the jeep guys he was wheelin with made a comment something like "move that Japanese pop can the hell out of my way" when all marlin was doing was asking if he could help the poor b*std fix his jeep.  I'll get the magazine from my buddie and post up the quote from the man himself.

Sorry i really get pissed off sometimes when i hear/read stuff like what hammerhead posted

Rant off

Sorry NAT your still my brotha even though you drive a jeep but from the sounds of it your one of the few good ones my friend  :beerchug:

Its not the brand that gets me going, its the prick owners out there.  Jeeps and Harley's have the same type of owners many times.  They do it as a status symbol more than as a tool for enjoyment. Its a cawk measuring contest and if you don't have the same brand you must be a traitor to their brands heritage and history.

Blah blah, I'll wheel with anyone I don't care, but if your an :moon: I will make you hate me before we're done...

:werd:

And in reality, the best thing to do, is shut up, and let your wheels do the talking for you.  You talk :pokinit:, and then your rig breaks, you look like the :moon: hole (believe it or not, yotas break too)  if you keep your mouth shut, and our rig makes it some where the jeeps don't, they dickhead owners look like the jackasses for talking :pokinit:, not you.

Its like the Skier Snowboarder thing I wheel with alot of different people some of them have jeeps. Would I leave a jeep guy stranded hell no, and I would expect they would help me out as well. I don't care if you wheel a VW bug as long as your having a good time then go for it.

Yup, and now we finally get the respect from the Jeep owners. Marlin's goal has certainly been accomplished. I remember when ever someone would say "Why are you wasting time with those underpowered light duty trucks" Marlin would always say "I am just trying to get Toyota's on the map" That should be a trademarked phrase of his. He said that nearly every time we would go out wheeling in the pre-Marlin Crawler era (ie pre-"Rock Crawling").

You were technically DOGGING his jeep first, I dont have lockers and I would consider my jeep a pretty capable rig. Ive heard a few people say its the driver not the rig.  I would be willing to bet that there is some person out there that could outwheel you in a open diff vehicle just for the fact that they have more experience.

dude was asking for it though by putting "Rubicon" stickers on a regular jeep....thats like putting 5.0 stickers on a 4cylinder mustang and taking it to the track

I think Dave :imwithstupid: hit da nail on da head with this part of his statement. Its all about personal preferance, and a little bs. I don't belive one can be considered better than the other becouse there are so many different prefrances among wheelers. Saying that more jeep owners are pansies, or vice versa, or that jeeps, are mechanically better than toys, or vice versa, is just an opinion. It seems the problems arise when someone takes others opinions as criticsm, and gets their panties in a bunch.   :shake_head: stopit:

I think you are right...If you are giving a guy a hard time about his ride and he's pissed then maybe he needs to go home.  I give Karen a hard time about her heep, but at the same time take the time to teach her how to use the jeep to do things.   Ok it's not going to do the Hammers or something, but it sure does a great job getting her around town in the snow storms etc. I still think when she rides/drives my 86 this year she'll just  it. Not because it's better then the Heep but because it's fun.  I have asked her if when she gets a trail rig if she wants a jeep, she says "no! I want a toyota because they are better!".

proof is in the pudding right there.....

No way an open diff rig could out wheel a locked rig on 4-5 level trails, I don't care who's driving. On a 1-3 level trail, yeah experience is going to win out. :beerchug:
