Seriously what was he stuck on ???

Was it that bad when you went through it?  Maybe I'm not getting the full effect but I certainly don't see anything that would be a cause for WINCHING for the love of god :dunno:
he wasnt stuck on anything...my girlfirend drove down that trail AT NIGHT and it was her second time driving...she had no problems...

They just like to pull thier winch cables and take pictures.....hardcore man  :shake:

Wow. That looks like the road to my friends ranch during spring. He drives his geo prism out there in deeper mud than that.

When you buy a jeep is there something written on the interior sun visors right next to the 4 wheel drive instructions that says you must winch over everything that brings you near a tree or out of your comfort zone?
If you still have control you aren't going fast enough

Rubijon

OK I bought an 05' Jeep Rubicon brand new in 05' I put @ 40k into the thing and loved it I thought the thing went every where ( that was until I got my Toyota ). I never had a problem with anyone on the trail until I started wheelin the Toyota all of the sudden I see why everyone talks :pokinit: about Jeeps. Every time I was wheelin I felt like I was looked down on by the jeeps :haha:.I think that it is because they can not keep up with the Toyota's They don't stand a chance. Anyways my Jeep is now my daily driver what a waste of 40k.

Yota87Truck

I love my yota because they are one of the best trucks that are wheelable in stock form, plus theya last a long time.  And I think Jeeps are cool.  I know a guy that has a newer rubicon with 35's and it is a really capable rig.  But I agree with some previous posts.   Other brand bashing is always something that happens.  Like snowmoblies.... Artic Cat rocks... Or trucks.... yota Rocks.... or even if we own a vehicle we usually bash on we would say it rocks

We got held up on the trail last weekend by a group of Jeeps. What is normally a 15-20 minute drive to the trail turned into 45 minutes before we could turn off. There must have been 20 of them. EACH one stopped before the little ruts and mud puddle and would spend a few minutes deciding if their jeep could make it through. They were pulling winch cables out on the damn ROAD.....this is not even a trail.....its a ROAD to get to the trails. :shake:  We started honking after about 20 minutes of idiocity

He totally telling the truth.  There is a video on Youtube of it.

I wrench on toys and jeeps here in my town, and I have wrenched and wheeled with :imwithstupid: and lots of others.  pretty much goes that even if you are in the same rig as someone else, there is :pokinit: flying.  My favorite incident was at Deer Valley Trail.  My local Jeep buddy and I were running late, hauling ass to get to the trail.  We roll up, and everyone starts going,  "oh look! some kid brought his toy along!" about halfway through I heard a CB transmission asking where I was and couldn't grab the mike.  A guy in a VERY well built XJ gets on and says: "Rex is up here making the Japs proud.  We need some help. lol"

My point is, it goes both ways, even between bedfellows, and it's (usually) in good sport.

The video was actually of one of them getting stuck.  They didn't post any more of it.  He did use a winch instead of just using a strap and another truck.

:headscratch:  you sleep with your wheeling buddies?  I was wondering why Dave always looks happy in his wheeling pics.

The :pokinit: talking even goes on between same brand drivers.  I seem to remember Big Mike getting on the CB a few times at MCR5, wanting to know if Blackdog's IFS was still holding up :gap:

Brand loyalty is for punks with nothing better to do than bash on some else's rig. Most of the time they do this it's because they are lacking in the man part department.

You can't just clik on the link because Marlin's forum gods will change the was hita to washita in the address bar.  you must correct it for it to work.  Yes, that was pitiful and a waste of time.

I think Dave :imwithstupid: hit da nail on da head with this part of his statement. Its all about personal preferance, and a little bs. I don't belive one can be considered better than the other becouse there are so many different prefrances among wheelers. Saying that more jeep owners are pansies, or vice versa, or that jeeps, are mechanically better than toys, or vice versa, is just an opinion. It seems the problems arise when someone takes others opinions as criticsm, and gets their panties in a bunch.   :shake_head: stopit:
