I want to drill out my rear axles and unit bearing hubs
from 5x5.5 to 6x5.5
on the dodge, d44 front chrysler 9.25 rear
I did this years ago
1 stays 2 will tap into each other, so pre fill them with weld.

my question is do you know if any 6 lug rear shafts will work,
I tryed chevys but all I found were 2" to short
how about a chevy unit bearing 6 lug?

I have no problem drilling them but if I can go the right way I will.

Im not really sure of any parts that will swap over to your dodge heath they kind of had their own special stuff. you will probably just have to do it like you did before or order custom rear shafts and just drill the fronts.  You not to big on running the adapters or just looking at different options?

they stick out perfect for my taste, I just dont want a flare ticket

i'll be out on the trail this summer for sure. plan on hitting up the con/fordyce alot since i'll have a truck finally that i wont have to worry about stupid bs and i'll be able to drive it on the road ! well i'll prob trailer to the con/fordyce cause 5.13's 22re and 40s will bring the suck  that far.

do you have the 5.13s yet? if not go with a 70 out back an run some 5.89s or 6.17s and youll be set.

yeah i bought them pretty much when i got the 60.. im really really hesitant to get rid of my 14bolt since it has so much work done to it.. 6 lug conversion disk breaks geared all trussed and stuff thicker cover etc. maybe one day though. i am kicking myself for getting rid of a 70HD i had  as that would have been the best bet but ohwell

Ya they are pretty big. They are the 1inch shank and 5/8 bolt hole.  And haters can bring it! I'll let my tire do the talking as i drive over them

guys in spokane for the most... most who i talk to will chose TG over anyone... so i guess people have their brands
I wont hate, they havent been unproven. as the Trunnion Bearing Elim hasnt be unproven.

Aye. I know people who run these have had no problems and for 35 bucks a pop with jam nut its way to hard to not buy them. Trail gear isnt my most favorite company but yeah to hard to pass up

Pushed it forward about an inch from there. I didnt want to go way to far forward since on my last truck i did and had lots of steering issues.

So i kind of did what i could with what brackets i had, the rest of them will be here tomorrow so i should have the front axle pretty much buttoned up in the next few days hopefully



also just so you can get an idea of just how long my front links are here is where they end under the door lol
