started work on the ford today.. had to get the old harmonic balancer off cause its old and busted and very very stuck.. ended up having to make a puller out of a piece of 1.5x3/8ths and a 5/8ths bolt and nut.. and i ended up having to just weld it to the stupid old balancer  but ohwell i dont care   all i really got done today since my sleep schedual is screwed and that took way to long so im off to bed.  tomarrow..  the tranny comes out =\

Thats uh.... interesting there.  Glad it worked though, that sucks when you can't get something off that should come off.

yeah  they are suposed to be able to just tap off but it wasnt working.. so i was welding around the thing to make it expand  in hopes to tap it off but also not working sooo.. i had to do that and it worked but was a super huge pain in the ass.

so i got bored and did somthing to the toyota.. i think it looks better now.. i just wish the bed wasnt already as hashed as it is but eh..  im just gonna smash the hell out of it anyway right ?

went up to the highlakes last night  made it to dice rock before i lost 4wd..  mmm melted pinion bearing goodness.. and my gears are a little rough but i'll just buff them up real nice and huck a bearing kit in it and call it good.

thats actually part of the cage of the bearing hanging down there all melted

nope my dumbass forgot to put oil back in after i changed the axle shaft.

sooo i finnaly got around to tearign it apart the other day.. pretty beautiful i must say im rather proud


Note that while removing the pinion gear i didnt change the shape of the  bearing cage  at all. it came out as such.. also note my lovely driver side wheelbearing/spindle bearings..  been a while since i had done somthing about those it seems lol.. ohwell nothing is ruined  in that area so g2g.. i didnt get a chance to snap any pics of the gears but they cleaned up pretty nicely  if anything they might be a little noisy but eh i'll just turn the stereo up louder

Also flattend out my pitman arm a bit  since i had some serriously nasty bumpsteer so i made  the draglink a little more inline with the track bar.. hopefully it will be better, Had to drop the tierod down  aswell but ohwell its 1.5" .250wall DOM so im not to worried about it.









hopefully new wheel bearings and spindle bearings this weekend >.> and then i'll be back in buisness

its a CV flange so its pretty big. just gotta rotate it and drill  i think its the one off my old 85 tcase.  but its interchangeable with diffs.  if that doesnt end up working out i think i have another small bolt pattern that could work.   swing by this weekend or whatever and snag it

hehe thanks im really happy with it.. i just scuffed it i didnt sand it down or anything so it looks better further away haha. some orange peel and runs but who cares just gonna bash it right ?  3 coats of gloss black tractor paint from the local tractor supply   just need to paint my grille now   what color should i go for ?

Something florescent.    You can just use some marking paint that way, keep it cheap

Aye i was thinking maybe silver or gray.. probably a dark gray as i want to keep that blacked out look  will look sick once i get my other 2 black rims on it

Went to the Surplus city event today here in town.. just did the mud class because i didnt want to run the unlimited rock course ( would have to because of their lame rules)
