not exactly sure but its def a head issue.. blowing white smoke and its now locked up with water in the cyl.. no water in the oil/oil in the water

anywho did some work today with the parts and

i have.. built a rear driveshaft and got my clutch master working >.> but it moves under its own power ! though very slowly because i dont have any oil in the cases or rear dif

but ofcourse more poser pics taken with my cell phone so sorry for the quality

but im really gunning for taking it out to the claypits this weekend for a test run. if i can get my hands on a fan for it and some power steering lines im set

haha nah ive always loved that monster truck fender look that swoops back like that. had it like that on my last truck with custom made flares from 1st gen fenders welded to my 2nd gen ones.. loved it

alright so i just need to put my front driveshaft in put some oil in the cases/diffs and slap my rear shocks on real quick and im done. i sshhhhoouuullldddd be out at the claypits in the afternoon if anyone wants to cruise out there give me a call sometime after lunch 828 6042

Negitive its the one eric built. i bought the truck from him as just a cab,frame and motor, its his old wheeler but pretty much with everything he did cut off and my ideas put on.

Well took it out for its virgin run last night at black butte.. did really well even with my barely tacked on coil tubes that i seemed to have forgot to weld on fully. Ended up blowing a bead and another tire went flat about 2 miles away from the tow rig.. 1 rear and 1 front ended up swapping tires and driving out with 2 flat rear ones.. took forever but overall it was fun, i need to buy a new brake line now though >.> stupid tires. anyway didnt get home till bout 3:30 am and im beat i'll get some pics up of my lovely rim and tire that was totally blown off.

towed it to the trail similar to that too but a little less scary.. but at 3 am after a 2mphish drive back to the trailer you dont really give a damn haha

Did a little tire/rim repair today of sorts.. since i drove back on the flat tire with a broke ass bead i kinda chewed the rim up a bit sooo. i broke out the file and grinder and kinda fixed the edge a bit and got rid of any burrs.. Also a note about my rims, the dingus that owned them before welded a bead on them just inside to keep the bead of the tire to stay in place.. yeah well its so worn down it doesnt do much SOOO it kinda sucks. Anywho on with the pics

After i got the bead all cleaned up on both the tire and rim i took my trusty caulking gun with a tube of Right Stuff gasket sealer ( stuff is crazy sticky) and liberally put some on the bead of the tire and started to air it up ( pic obviously after i began to air it up)

after you have the bead set and all aired up just take yer ole finger and scrape the rest of it around the edge of the rim to kinda seal any leaks and gives it a more uniform look =P

and walla one glued ass tire, Ive seen this done with roofing sealant before and it worked bitchen but i have no roofing sealant and no way to go get any. hopefully it works just as good but time will tell

went to the claypits and broke my

today.. ( i seem to break more out there than anywhere else) ripped track bar mount and a broken long side.. i think its time to add a 4th link to the front and just say flopp that 3 link BS. Front axle i didnt really expect since i was on dirt but aparently 3rd gear double low + front tires comming off the ground about 2 feet was enough shockload to snap it with the 40's. Ohwell, id like a 60 or rockwells but just cant afford it so this will work for now

btw this is the same spot kyle bent the piss out of his rear spring

. and yeah i didnt make it up it. i almost did when i broke my shaft but getting reduced to 3 wheel drive and it seemed a spark plug wire popped off so 3cyl didnt help that situation.

so i decided to build the ford instead of sell it ;3

Already have a 70 with 4.56 gears for the rear and the front is a b*std HP d44 with kingpin open knuckles.. i figure i can cut the ends off and take the C's and knuckles i have off a 10bolt/44 and weld them on plus all the chevy outers which are easy as hell to get/make. i also have HP 4.56 gears ready to go in the front soon as i do a little buffing on them ( have some chips and rust.. easy fix) i might also be getting a 12-15k pto winch from a friend off a tow truck

Ontop of all that i have everything to put onboard air on the truck aswell. York pump with a stock ford bracket !

Plans are for the suspension up front:

Drop the radius arm brackets down to correct the caster and allow for a little more travel
Drop the coil buckets down even more than they are ( currently around 3-4" moves down the frame from stock)
Probably continue to use stock coils as right now the truck is pretty tall as i have 37" MT'R's on it but i may get some 2-3" lift coils to just kind of freshen up the front spring rate we'll see.

Lengthen the track bar of course

Plans for the rear suspension:

Currently its already using a flipped shackle and thats it. I want to redo the mount because right now its pretty hack. Id like to find some 1 ton springs and i may have a line on some but we'll see. Since i do plan to tow with this truck im going to be adding some anti wrap bars due to it having a shackle flip, Also depending on how tall the front ends up being i may run a slightly taller block.

Im sure by now you guys are going flopp that thing sounds like its gonna be tall.. well yeah it is.. i have a set of 39.5x15x15 TSL's that are going to go on it. It may get the boggers that are currently on the toyota if i can ever get off my ass and take the 2 of the other set i have to the tire shop to get vulcanized.

so what do you guys think ? any suggestions ? Note this rig is going to be a screw around hey lets go play in the mud type rig but im also going to use it to tow my toyota to the local trails here. Oh i forgot to mention i have a hydroboost brake system off a motorhome that will also be going on the truck so it will be able to stop on a dime once i get disk brakes on the front.

Just some current specs:

69 F-100 4x4
390 big block 2bbl
NP435 tranny
Dana21 case ( might be getting replaced with a 205)
44 front 3.55 gears
9" rear same ratio

nahh not going to part the yota i just have been kicking around the idea of building the ford.. but ive been trying to sell it so gonna finnaly do what i want to it. i just happen to have 2 sets of boggers

i probably will. i have all the parts for it except for some power steering lines and the spindles out for the 44. so weather permitting

i cant even get out there to really fix my radiator right now in the toyota to go wheelin this weekend >.>
