So im kind of in a spot where im stuck/not sure where to go. Basically i cant run the rad in the engine bay due to no room.  So i have to run it in the bed ORRRR tube the front end out a bit and try to squeek it in there somewhere. I never liked them in the bed.
tube the front and run it up there
think of all the extra lines it would take to get it back there,
just more crap to go wrong, and cause problems later on

why not cut out core support and have a small aluminum radiator with a pusher fan? Ive seen people with that before.

Dont run it in the bed, thats ghey and just asking for more :pokinit: to go wrong.

Im not sure if the front crossmember will allow it. I'll have to see what i can find for a different radiator since what i had in mind was using my v6 one.  Pretty much did everything i could to push the motor back as far as it would go  i have about 1/2" clearance with the dist cap which will be plenty since i have the spring bushing type motor mounts and run 2 tcase mounts, it wont be going anywhere. Kind of weird that even with a 3" body lift im still having weird fitment issues.

So i found this

That is very in my price range and i think i could make it fit. I REALLY dont like the idea of plastic tanks but i guess if i had to in a pinch i could jb weld one back together. but with my bumper and other stuff i dont see one breaking. Does anyone know what electric fans from the Jyard are going for ? this guy found a taurus fan style out of a volvo with a  slim shroud http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-954_wpRWsQ pretty neat  it even has the relay stuff already setup. I could probably fit that in there i think

Well i ordered those headers. Going to see if i cant make my toyota rad work first before buying that one.  Getting a little low on the funds

I will have clearance issues with the bottom of the rad and the front cross member plus i have that 12k winch stuffed in there. Gotta do a bunch of thinking and looking. If i have to i'll notch the cross member to be able to push it forward

So i found somthing mildly interesting. For those of you that dont want to do a v8 swap due to "weight" should know that a SBC 350 weighs roughly the same as a 3.4 and a 4.3 weighs LESS than one also

Also i was looking around in my junk pile just a few mins ago and i found a radiator out of my old 92 v6 camry i had  its extremely thin almost like single core status. 16 3/4 X 28 1/4 X 1 1/4 is the measurements for it. So im going to cut my core support out and make one out of tube to push it as far forward as i can. I figure that if i move my cooler for my power steering and push it all the way to the winch plate i'll have plenty of room for an electric fan

Little bit of an update.

Past few days ive managed to get my cases in
Rad mounted
Headers on
Motor mounts re done again. and not finished, just have to gusset them now







i figure i'll have it fired sometime this weekend

The to do list at the moment is

Wire it
Plumb lines ( Fuel, heater, radiator, transmission)
Mount shifter and run the cable
Mount electric fan and wire it
Bolt drivelines back up
Run the rest of the exhaust
Top off the fluids
Put starter in


and thats about it

Yep going to do that and clean up the wiring a bit. hopefully i can bust everything out and maybe make a run to the clay pits tomorrow sometime for a little test.

Just need to plumb the rad/heater hose
bolt drive shafts up
hook electric fan up
powersteering line
top off fluids
and finish off the wiring.. i could probably do that in a night and a morning XD
